So here he was 6 months later in the office of some university he's never even heard the name of, It looked like a fucking castle too.

"Mr. Parsons?"

"Ah. Yeah--I mean yes."

The woman sighed, slightly smiling to herself whislt slyly unbuttoning her shirt.
He looked down to see her obvious flirtatious move and internally rolled his eyes.

"I see you've joined our little program, I also see you are very intelligent...(she clears her throat) what is your current relationship status?"

Was that important to the job.

He looked past her, outside of the window. He could see the students walking by, some laying out in the grass and some pacing quickly.
he looked back at the principal, her demeanor now heavy and sensual.

he was very uncomfortable, slightly shifted in his chair. arny leaned back into the seat and gave her a pitiful smile.

"I'm a widow."

if he was right it looked as if that had captivated her even more, her eyes looked desperately hopeful.

"I'm sorry to hear that! I'm sure she was a lovely wif--"

"husband. I was married to a man."

her happy go lucky expression faded immediately.

"you will be teaching the history department, their will be an announcer there to present you to the class. I expect the students to give you a warm welcome despite your history. here's your id, clipboard—-and our universities rules of navigation will all be on your desk. You're free to go now
Mr. Parsons."

She said sighing to herself, aggressively stacking papers onto her desk.

Damn. Her tone completely changed.
Well, he wasn't lying about the marriage, but for the sake of the oath he was a widow.

If you're not supposed to be alive, you act like you're not supposed to be alive that's how the mission always goes. His husband well, ex-husband was supposed to be dead. Their team tends to fake their death every blue Luna.

But obviously, those details are not important right now.

no one had his class today. He was starting in 2 days, he picked at the class room wall and tried to recall the time he wanted to attend college and make something of himself.

That was so long ago. He only had one friend as well.

(Flash back ahead.)

"I don't do parties."

"Why are you so determined to be a loser this semester."

Arnys friend James lightly smacked his arm, unhappy that arny didn't want to join in, on him and his alcoholic friends breaking stuff and calling it a party.

"I'm good. Great even, I have a very important class to go to in the morning."

"Cmon Arny it's not like class isn't important to me too."
