Season 2 has begun. We are starting with a small chapter as it's a way to introduce the season. Next chapter focuses on Zane after all. So next day, insert Cole and Jay being lost in the woods for a bit.
Anyway, Kudos and comments are appreciated. I really adore seeing comments.
Also, the laser pointer thing is sorta true fact. Like we used one on my cat once and he was searching around for an hour while meowing. I didn't do that, clearly, but laser pointers and cats.. .and even dogs sometimes can make them anxious.
Now from my PSA about laser pointers, enjoy the chapter.

The lycans followed the women back to the cabin and watched Zane emerge from inside.
“I sensed a human has crossed the barrier.”
Misako walks up through the snow. “Oh, you must be Dr. Julien's son. Do not worry, I can pass through the barrier freely.” Misako smiles and Zane lifts a brow.
“Can you inform me how? … .so that I can better the barrier… .we had another human come in once and-” Misako eyes his exposed metal and quietly invites herself inside. Zane looks back at her, with a small, second-long glare.
Kai crossed his arms. “Why are we letting a human inside, isn't this place for lycans?”
“I agree… .My father never allowed her here before.” Zane mentions and watches Wu go up to the women.
“Misako, we still have a lot to discuss, might we discuss over tea?”
“Oh Wu, of course. Enlighten me about current events involving my husband.” She flicks her hand.
Zane's head tilts and his face glitches. “I… .Did he just ignore my father's wishes about humans?” Cole pats Zane's shoulder.
“Wow, Wu really likes her.” Nya says as she watches the two old people laugh.
“Where's Lloyd?” Kai looks up at Zane, and the ice wolf lightly scowls, but points to the library.
Kai goes with Nya and Cole and Jay look at Zane.
“You good, pal?” Jay asks and Zane closes his eyes and gives a long breath.
“Excuse me, but I'm going to excuse myself to my father's lab.”
“Can we joi-”
“No.” Zane says to Cole and proceeds to walk out the front door.
*Caw!*
“Yes, you can do that… .and don't worry, it's just a few small scratches on my exoskeleton.”
The door is left opened as the two boys watch Zane fade away into the birch trees.
“Um.. .let's go to the library with the others.” Cole says and grabs Jay's arm, dragging him after closing the door. Cole peers at Wu and the women, both smiling at each other. He then spots Zane's crow watching them, like a hawk.
(Ok, Zane is sensing danger) He drags Jay to the library and immediately closes the door to it.
“Why'd you do that?” Kai asks as Cole spots Lloyd back in that cat form, being petted by Nya. Jay soon joined and took a Laser from his pocket.
“Why do you have that?” Nya looks at her boyfriend, who beams as Lloyd's eyes watch the red light.
“I made it… .it was actually supposed to be a light to point up, like in case of emergencies, alert the whole pack, type of shit, but it didn't work… .but this is a great use.” Jay sticks his tongue out and keeps pointing the laser around. Lloyd then drops to the floor and Nya holds her laughter as Lloyd limps, trying to get the light.
“Guys, really?” Kai eyes Jay and Cole takes the laser.
“That causes cats anxiety, Jay!”
“Lloyd has ptsd, what kind of anxiety would simple light cause?” Jay looks at the massive feline and sees him looking around aimlessly.
“Oh.”
“That should wear off, right?” Nya picks up the almost as-big as her feline.
“Yeah, but anyway… .that woman is she suspicious or is that just me?” Kai asks and Cole nods.
“Yep!” Jay said as he soon brought out a string.
“Also, can you stop messing with Lloyd? I know he is stuck like that, but we can't just trigger him.” Cole watches Jay put the string up.
“But he is a cat-”
“He is literally the size of a puma, and I don't want to hear from you if he scratches you.” Cole shakes his head and Nya looks at Lloyd, who just rolled his eyes.
“Wait, is he stuck with a cat mind, like how we can sorta feral?” Jay asks and Nya sighs.
“Yes, Misako is suspicious.” Lloyd's eyes went wide and he squirms in Nya's arms.
“Lloyd, calm down!” Lloyd jumps down and heads to the door, and watches it open. A light greets him and all the teens then watch Lloyd go sprinting away. Kai looks back and at the shocked women.
“Was that my son?” She walks in and Kai immediately gets in front of her. Nya meanwhile looks under a table where Lloyd had changed back and curled up. Jay frowns as his phantoms lower upon seeing Lloyd.
“May I?” He asks and gets under the table with Nya, and Lloyd huffs at him.
“I'm sorry.” Jay nervously smiles and eyes Lloyd's ears moving.
“Lloyd?” Then the woman's face came and Nya watches start to shake.
“Oh, Lloyd.” The woman sighs and nearly gets closer, but Jay quietly crawls forward. Misako stares at him and the tiny sparks in the boy's eyes.
“I'll back off.”
“Good” Nya practically snarled as then a bamboo staff hit the floor. Jay's phantoms lower and Nya cokes from under the table and sees Kai glaring at the women.
“How about we all talk?” Wu says and starts walking back to the entrance. Cole looks at the others.
“Wu, I have no issue with talking, but don't you see how Lloyd reacted?” He whispers and Wu stares at his student.
“Cole, he was only attacked by Garmadon and likely is having issues regarding that.”
Kai's eyes widen as Misako walks past him and to the entrance with Wu.
“He is either being hypnotized or is really in love with her.” Jay said as he helped Lloyd up. Lloyd's chest heaved up and down and Kai came and Lloyd latched to him. Kai puts his hair through Lloyd's hair and starts walking.
“Did she attack him?” Nya whispers to Kai, who honestly shook his head and shrugged his shoulders.
“Lloyd, can you tell us?” Cole crouched a bit to look at Lloyd in the eyes.
“I… .I don't remember if she did, but she did kick me out… .I wonder why she is even here.” Lloyd mumbles, wiping his eyes. Cole stands up and looks at the entrance.
“I'll go find, Zane… .he was acting weird, so he might know something.” Lloyd nods to Cole and Jay rushes to Cole.
“I'll help track him… .Zane has a very strange scent, metallic and lavender-like.” Everyone eyes Jay.
“What, you all know we can track, right… .Wait, didn't Cole track Wu before we found Lloyd in that blo-” Cole puts his hands over Jay's mouth.
“Now, me and Jay will get Zane and you two will get information from her.” Cole points to both Nya and Kai.
“On it… .And if it fails I'll make her dreams a nightmare to behold.” Nya says and Jay's phantoms just wags.
“Yeah, make her feel horrible!” Lloyd cheers and Kai looks at his sister.
“Alright, Lloyd, we will protect you from her… .you two can go.” Cole nodded, taking his hand off of Jay's mouth.
“Yay, I get to train my tracking!” Jay sprints off already in wolf form as Cole rushes after him.
