Sorry this one took a while. I had to do stuff and writers block. Also, I really struggled here cuz the rabbit stuff goes with Shintaro and I can't reveal that yet. Hehe. Vania will come another day.

Also, there's so many deleted scenes from this chapter regarding Misako and Jay. Hahaha. I'll put that in the next one. Hehe. Anyway, hopefully this chapter is good.

“To achieve a full controlled state of mind you have to not give into your instincts… .You can use them, but you must not let yourself be lost in them.” The old man instructed the bloody boy. 

“Did he actually grab a bird?” Jay whispers to Cole, who stared up at Wu, who dragged them all to this lesson. Jay's phantoms then feel a shock as a staff bonked his head. 

“No interruptions.” Wu sighs and Jay just gave a small nod as he rubs his head. 

“Ha, the motor mouth got hit!” Kai beams and is struck with the staff for his speaking. 

Zane raised his hand. “Wu, may I inquire why we are here during this lesson, that clearly is geared to Lloyd?” 

“Leave me out of this, that bird was taunting me.” Lloyd crossed his bloody arms. 

“Yes, Zane…  .and I have you all here as an example of keeping your instincts at bay, though, two of you clearly need to learn restraint against speaking without thought.” 

“I think pretty good.” Jay mutters as he then moves his phantoms to a noise of crunching. His head turns immediately and Wu sighs at the sight. 

“Wu!” The man then turns to the women and Jay feels himself scooting back as Nya, Zane, and Kai join him. Cole kept his place and posture as Lloyd just straight up ran and climbed up a tree. 

“And Lloyd is gone.” Nya says and Zane gets up to go get their brother. 

He stops. “Are we excused?” Wu nods and Zane goes forward towards the trees, Kai soon following. 

Wu eyes the panting women. “Misako, what is the issue?” 

“In the city, the ship was spotted by the Mystic wolf… .she called and told me that the Jade rabbits are… .at Lily's place again.” She whispers that last part, but Cole saw Wu glance at him, so gets up. 

“We all must go at once.” Wu turns to his students and Cole looks at the women, before heading inside. He then breathes out. 

“Guess, I have to see my dad.” He rubs his hand over his face and heads into Zane's old bedroom and to his pallet. 

“Finally, we get to kick Garmadon's ass!” Kai rushed in with Jay and Lloyd. Lloyd rubbed his arm and lowered his ears. 

“Wait, didn't you reveal yourself in the city?” Jay tilts his head at Kai, who leered. 

“Don't remind me…” 

Cole looks away and grabs his keys and his book. He gives a small smile at the cover and then puts it into his bag again. 

“Nya is placing her Hunter X disguise on, but Kai, what are you going to do?” Zane asks and then looks into his closet, and takes out old clothes. 

Cole lifts a brow. “Are you going to use a disguise, Zane?” Zane nods, putting an old, small, shirt in front of his torso and then leaves the room.

“Zane?” Jay looks out and watches Zane head to another room.
