Secret Of the Lake

I actually reread a bunch of older chapters for this. Also how i released this a day after the last one is beyond me. Enjoy.

I'm not sure if there's anything to warn about in this one, I guess emotions.

“Hey wait for me!” Lloyd goes chasing the others, to then be stopped by a static-like feeling poking him. 

“What the?” He looks back at everyone leaving, either inside or to follow Nya. Lloyd takes his dagger out and drops it as an electric current goes right up it. 

“Hey!” He then steps back as a stick lifts itself and starts being burnt by a zapping current! 

It then dove into the snow, and began writing!

Nya looks backwards and then keeps going. Her feet guided her away, further and further into the barren trees. 

(How are they so calm? They fucking left us!) She ran down from the snow, and slid against the ice to the other side. 

(What if it isn't even them, what if this is another damn Misako trick or fucking shapeshifters!?) 

She climbs up the snow bank, sending frozen spikes of pain through her palms, her breath swirled in front of her, and she stared up at the darkening sky. She gets herself up and peers at the other side, and spots Kai… .looking around. She pulled her hood up and bolted. 

(What about the shop… .don't they care or know what happened?) She keeps moving forward, but eventually starts slowing as she raises her head. 

She digs her feet into the snow. “Don't they care what they did to me or Kai?” She felt her lip quiver and her eyes give way to blurry tears. 

Kai in his dreams is always screaming for them after all… .Her eyes moved in thought. 

“I didn't dream about those wolf heads, did I?” She clutched her eyes and soon bolted again. Her form changed as soon she came across another ice field, but much smaller. Her ear flicks to movements and she heads down to the frozen lake and listens to the crunches. 

*Crack* 

Her eyes widened and she stared back at another wolf, he just panted as he approached her. 

(Of course our parents didn't come after us.) She sneers and walks along the frozen lake. 

“Nya, it's ok… .mom and dad are back now come on and let's go back-” 

“HOW ARE YOU FUCKING CALM!?” 

He steps back, and eyes her. “I… .I'm happy that our parents are back, I never thought this day was gonna happen!” His tail wags and Nya takes a step back and looks to her side. 

She turns and starts walking away. “They're your parents.” And she bolts as Kai immediately goes after her and steps in front of her. 

“Nya, I know you don't remember them, but try… .please, I thought this is what you always wanted.” 

She slashed at his face and Kai whimpered as she began going forward again. Kai jumps in front of her again. 

“This is what you wanted, not me… .we are good without parents Kai, we didn't need them, and I don't want some people who caused you to be AFRAID OF WATER AND LEFT YOU TO RAISE ME!” Nya screams and Kai's body drops as she soon sits down and changes back. Her eyes watered and Kai immediately changes himself back and sits besides her.
