Jungwon's smirk faltered as he saw the steely glint in Yumi's eyes, a fire he hadn't seen before. He'd always been the one in control, the one who could effortlessly manipulate her emotions. But this Yumi was different, this Yumi had a newfound strength, a defiance that made his blood run col. This Yumi also have Niki. He opened his mouth to speak, to try and regain his hold on her, but before he could utter a word, Niki rose from his chair, his gaze fixed on Jungwon.

"Don't even think about it," Niki said, his voice low and dangerous. "You're not going to hurt her anymore."

Yumi, despite the wave of relief that washed over her at Niki's protectiveness, felt a surge of anger. For years, she had allowed Jungwon to manipulate and control her, but no more. This time, she was going to fight back.

"Niki, let me," she said, her voice trembling with a new kind of power. "I'm not going to let him control me anymore."

Niki's eyes softened, his hand reaching out to gently grip hers. He knew how much she wanted to confront Jungwon, how much she yearned to reclaim her voice. But he also knew that a fight would only lead to more pain, more manipulation. He had to protect her, not just from Jungwon, but from herself.

"Yumi," he said, his voice calm and reassuring. "It's not worth it. Let's just get out of here."

With a firm grip on Yumi's hand, Niki pulled her out of the cafe, ignoring Jungwon's frustrated shouts and angry pronouncements. They walked in silence for a few moments, the city noise fading away as they entered the quiet embrace of a nearby park.

The park was bustling with life, children laughing, couples strolling, and the scent of blooming flowers filling the air. Niki steered Yumi towards a secluded bench under the shade of a large oak tree, its branches reaching towards the sky like outstretched arms.

"Yumi," Niki began, his voice soft. "I know it's hard, but you don't have to fight this alone. You have me, and you have yourself. You are stronger than you think."

Yumi leaned against him, her eyes stinging with tears. "I just... I just want it to stop," she whispered, her voice choked with emotion.

Niki wrapped his arm around her, holding her close. "It will stop," he said, his voice firm and reassuring.

"He doesn't have any power over you anymore."

Yumi closed her eyes, letting herself be comforted by Niki's warmth. She was tired, exhausted from years of manipulation and control. But for the first time in a long time, she felt a flicker of hope. She had a chance to start over, a chance to reclaim her life, a chance to be free.

The sun began to set, painting the sky with hues of orange and purple, as Niki gently led Yumi towards a nearby swing set. They sat side by side, pushing each other higher and higher, their laughter echoing through the park.

It was a simple act, a shared moment of joy, but it felt like a world away from the suffocating atmosphere of the cafe. It was a glimpse of the future, a future where Yumi was free, where she was loved and supported, a future where she was finally her own. As they swung, a sense of peace settled over Yumi. It was the kind of peace that comes from letting go, from knowing that you are not alone in your journey.

It was the peace of knowing that she had found someone who truly understood her, someone who would stand by her, no matter what. And as the last rays of sunlight faded, she knew that this was just the beginning. They would rebuild, they would heal, and they would face the future together, side by side.
