Episode 2
                            Start

Mr. Tomy dialed Mr. Steven’s number and told him to meet him alone at the city’s main gate. Then, in a hushed voice, he muttered to himself, "Peter, this is the last moment of your happiness."

He stood up from his chair and walked to the bathroom, washing his hands. Catching his reflection in the mirror, he noticed his tooth was bleeding. He opened his mouth, swirled some water, then spat it out. Once he confirmed everything was in order, he washed his face. He rinsed it three times before heading to his dressing room, which was lined with shirts accumulated over the years.

He carefully deliberated over which suit to wear.

Meanwhile, Lily Torres, Tomy’s wife, was busy cooking in the kitchen. Suddenly, she noticed the gas pipe, connected to the cylinder, was on fire. Acting swiftly, before the cylinder could explode, she disconnected it from the gas supply. In the midst of her frantic efforts, a scalding hot cooker slipped and fell onto her arm, severely burning her skin. She screamed instantly, the sharp pain overwhelming her, and collapsed onto the floor. As if the unbearable heat of the kitchen wasn’t enough, she now faced this new agony.

Mark, hearing his mother’s cries, sprinted into the kitchen and found her lying on the ground. Without hesitation, he rushed to help her.

Mr. Tomy bolted from his room, but as he did, he slipped and fell into a glass table, cracking it slightly. Shaking off the impact, he scrambled to his feet and finally made his way into the kitchen.

Lily was still crying, writhing in pain.

"Dad!" Mark shouted, panic in his voice. "Look at what’s happened to Mom. Do something, help her!"

Mr. Tomy remained silent, his expression somber, his seriousness unwavering.

Mr. Steven and Superintendent Thomas paced the second floor of the CSS station house.

Steven said, "I understand the Devoxenal gang is furious and wreaking havoc. They want revenge for the death of their members."

SP Thomas responded, "Especially Mr. Peter. All the CSS officers involved in the operation are potential targets. We should consider spending more time at the CSS station house. It’s the safest place, with plenty of constables on guard. They could strike at any lone officer."
