Last Goodbye

I never thought
That I could write poems
Was living under the world of games
Tried to be happy thyself selfishly
Did only what made me happy.

Was living a thoughtless life
Ditched an important exam overnight
Because that felt right, so right
Friends cried saying their last goodbye
Didn't care for them
Because that felt so right.

But I was always friendly
Even they tried
Fought with friendliness, with emotion and smile
But at last, I sighed
Feeling lonely without friends and cried.

But it was too late
That they left me
But it didn't matter, I was happy.

"What a weird person you are,"
My friends used to ask
First boy of once class six
Ditching an important exam without fuss, like it is a game
And it was like a game to me then.

Things changed, and situations changed
Felt what I did was so wrong
So I took the exam the next year
New friends appeared like it was magic
Because of my nature.

Now one old friend called me tonight
I became so happy
That my regrets died.

I told myself
Had I a friend that ditched me
Then at that moment I realized
How can I write poems so well?

I felt sorry and ashamed
Let an important girl to unfriend
Who gave you something that you gained
How can you be so cruel like that?
Now she bid me her last goodbye
I was happy to realize only these words, "LAST GOODBYE."
