Arrival at Eddie's

The arrive at Eddie's house.

„We arrived.", Buck said.

„So this is your house, Eddie?", Olivia asks.

„Yes, it is. I moved here six years ago. I used to life in El Paso but I just needed something new for me and my son Christopher.", Eddie states.

„ In Germany you say you wanted a „Tapetenwechsel". Anyways. We should get inside, shouldn't we?", Olivia says.
They both nod in agreement and get Olivia's stuff in Chris' room.

They all sit in silence in the living room, until Buck finally decided to say something.

„So you are going to go to the „Stark Middle school" and after school I'll pick you up and we'll drive to the fire house for our shift. Eddie will wait for us there. My sister will design your bedroom a little bit for you so you feel more comfortable. Her name is Maddie."

„That's such a pretty name. Can you tell me more about the 118 and your and Eddie's life? Everything you want to tell me going from favourite Color to all your trauma and what you went through. And how did one of you asked the other one out for the first time? Was it love at first sight or slow burn? I wanna know everything."

„Wait, wait, wait.. What do you mean how did we asked the other one out? We... we are not a couple?", Eddie says, confused on how anyone could think that.

„You're not? You should be! Anyways. Tell me about the 118."

„Well,", Buck starts, „ We are like a family. The 118 consists of Hen, Chimney, Bobby, Ravi, Eddie and me. Bobby is our captain. We all go by nick names.. expect Ravi. Hen is Henrietta Wilson, Chimney is Howard Han-Buckley, Bobby is Robert Nash, Eddie is Edmundo Diaz and my name's Evan Buckley. Hen and Chim are best friends just like me and Eddie. Any questions?"

„Yeah. Are you and Chimney related? His name is Han-Buckley."

„He's married to my sister Maddie. It's getting late. We should all go to sleep. Eddie can I take your couch?"

„Sure."

They all go to sleep. Olivia is really excited. She can not wait to meet the 118 and Buck's sister. The next day they wake up, get ready and Eddie drops Olivia off at school.

Olivia's POV———————————-

I step into the building and look for my first class. Found it. History with Mrs. Hinds. I sit down on an empty seat next to this boy. About five minutes later Mrs. Hinds walks into the room with a bright smile.

„Good Morning, kids. Before we continue with our subject from last week, I want to take attendance. If I say your name, raise your hand and say „here". Ben Allen?"

„Here."

This continues until...

„Olivia Buckley?"

„Here." I say and raise my hand. The boy next to me looks at me with big eyes. Did I do something wrong?
Mrs. Hinds says the next name which shocks me and leaves me with big eyes, just like the boy next to me.

„Christopher Diaz?"

What? No! He can't be Eddie's son? He's supposed to be in Texas!

„Here.", the boy next to me says.

I start writing a note. I finish right as she says the last name.

„Denny Wilson?"

„Here."

Wilson? Like Hen?

I pass the boy next to me the note:

Are you Christopher Diaz, like Edmundo Diaz? I met him yesterday and told me you were in Texas?

He reads it and starts writing his one note and hands it to me.

Yeah, I'm his son. I'm supposed to be in Texas with my grandparents but they decided to give me to my aunt Sophia. She lives in LA, so I don't have to change schools. Now you have to tell me since when Buck has had a daughter?
