They all get into the engine. Hen and Buck are quiet. Too quiet. Eddie puts his hand on Buck's shoulder to comfort him. Buck looks up and gives him a little smile before he looks down to the floor. Hen is having a tear run down her face. They arrive at the scene.

At school————

Everyone panicking. They tried to escape but they can't get out.

„Christopher? Are you okay?"

„I think so. Are-are you we going to die? Please be honest. You said you're a fire fighter assistant?"

„There's always a chance to die. Even if you're just taking a walk. So yes, there is a chance we are not going to survive this.", Olivia said, now shouting, „everyone! Attention please! Okay, so you need something to cover up your mouth, like a jacket or something similar. Crawl on the floor, the smoke goes up so you can breath better. Help will be here soon. At least I hope so."

„Buckley, Diaz, get inside! Go to room 1312. Hen, Chim, wait for Buck and Eddie to be back and then... idk just do your job."

„Copy that." They all say in unison.

Buck and Eddie get inside. Buck seems worried. He has only known that girl for how long? A day? But he is responsible for her. She is his daughter. They don't really know each other but they are Buckley's and that's all that matters.

„Eddie! Here! Room 1312!"

They break down the door and run inside the room.

„LAFD! Anyone here? Denny? Olivia? Is everyone okay?"

„Buck? I'm here! Everyone's okay. Including me, Denny and Chris."

„What- what do you mean Chris is okay?", Eddie doesn't know how to react when your son you thought was in Texas is suddenly in a burning building in Los Angeles.

Eddie freezes. He can't move. His son. In LA. What? Where is he staying? Did Buck know about this?

„Olivia help me get those people out! I know you don't have gear but you know everything I know."

„Yes, Dad."

Dad? She only knows him for a day. Anyway. There are more important things right know.

They get everyone out safely. Olivia and Chris have to go to the hospital for a check up though. After they got checked out they get to the waiting room. Finding Buck, Eddie, Hen, Bobby, Denny and Chimney. They hug immediately.

„Why didn't I you tell me you were back?", Eddie says still trying to process the fact his son is back.

„I don't know. I don't think I can forgive you yet. I can't live with you. Not yet."

„Hey guys, I don't want to interrupt your conversation but Chris can live with me and Olivia. How does that sound?", Buck suggests.

„Did your cooking improve?",Chris wonders.

„It definitely did. Bobby approved.", Bobby says.

„Okay, fine. I'll move in with you and Olivia. She seems nice btw. But I didn't think you would replace me so easily."

„Hey! We didn't replace you!"

„Anyway,", Chris starts, „ I'll live with you and Olivia. Dad, one text a day saying I'm still alive. You will tell me if your okay and that's it. I'm not ready for more."

„Got it, son."

„Don't."

„Don't what?"

„Don't call me your son."

Wow. That hurt. Like Chris stabs Eddie and then turns the knife in his body. He has tears in his eyes. He nods before turning around. Buck notices something is wrong. Buck asks Eddie if he wanted to walk around the hospital for a minute and he agrees. After five minutes they sit down and Eddie starts crying. Buck comforts him.
