Chapter Three: Do I Scare You?

*Carolins POV*

The rest of the day went by quickly. Me and Abby walked home together. No sign of Zayn or Harry which was good.

"Let's get ready fast to go to Loren's don't want Harry or Zayn knowing we are leaving" I say. Abby nods and runs to her house as I go to mine. I unlocked the door and stepped inside and see my mom on the couch eating fruit and watching her show.

"Hey sweetie. How was your first day?" She asked pausing her show nd patting the seat next to her. I roll my eyes but making sure she didn't see it and sat next to her. I had no time for this, I needed to get out of here

"It was fine" I say. She crosses her arms and leaned back on the couch.

"Are you sure? I got a call from a teacher saying that you were being disruptive" she says giving me the 'explain' look.

"You know Mr.Gould always hated me! He was picking on me I did nothing wrong." I say back

"Mhmm, well he said that you were on your phone and being very rude to him when he confronted you about it" she said

I stayed silent I couldn't defend myself, I didn't know what to say.

"Well I know it's your first day school but you not going out tonight as punishment" and said getting up. My eyes widen that means I have to stay in my house while Abby gets away from Harry, but I'm not so sure about Zayn. I know he won't take no for an answer.

I storm upstairs to my room and closed the door and fell on my bed, I pulled out my phone to tell Abby the news

-ugh Mr.Gould called my mom, I can't go out tonight fml ~CarBear

-WHAT? Do you want me to stay behind? -Abbster

-NO! Save yourself, Im a big girl -CarBear

I Actually wanted her to stay behind but I didn't want her to be stuck in the position that I'm stuck in. I mean I'm grounded for the night so Zayn cant force me right? He is not my boyfriend nor will he ever be so he can't tell me what to do. But Harry lives next door to Abby so once he sees her gone he would probably try to find me. If that happens I will hide but I'm not going to worry too much about it.

I sit on the bed and put my phone next to me and change into some pajamas. I'm glad that I had a TV in my room. So I watched some movies at the time flew by and before I know it at 6 o'clock.

-Hey I'm at Loren's, Any sign of Zayn or Harry? -Abbster

-No not yet-CarBear

But I spoke too soon after I sent her the text message I hear a knock on the door. Then I heard mumbling followed by hearing footsteps. I hear a knock and my moms voice

"Carolin you have a visitor" she says opening the door and there stands Zayn....great. When he sees my face expression he smirks.

"Zayn said you had a project to do together so I let him in" My mom said smiling. I gave her the 'are you serious' look. My mom stepped to the side and Zayn came in my room

"Have fun you two" my mom says as she closes the door behind her. I just sit still, frozen on the bed as I watch Zayns every move.

"Where's your friend?" He asked. I wasn't going to blow Abby's cover. I stayed silent. He creeped closer to me, he put each arms on the side of me on the bed and was inches away from my face.

"I'll ask you again....Where.Is.Your.Friend" he said in a deep firmly voice. My heart sped up as he spoke, his breath hit my face. He smelt of smoke and his cologne.
