Kakashi and Team 7 met at the main gate. The old drunk looked over at Konohamaru. He couldn't comprehend how this boy was one of the kids protecting him. His light green jacket, dark green pants, and blue scarf made him look like a nosey child. Someone unable to defend a client.

At least the brooding brat was better. He at least seemed to take things seriously. The brunette was trying to get Sakura's attention since he got here. He seemed dangerous, even as a kid.

Then that annoying girl. She was just gawking over the brooder. Why did they have to be so expensive. At least he had the masked Jonin. That guy seemed to be different. Plus he was the only adult in the group.

Soon they were heading out. Konohamaru was already bored. They had only been walking for a few hours and he was ready for some action. He'd been training so hard lately and wanted to show his grandpa, "Sensei! This sucks. Why did we have to get this grump for our first C-Ranks?"

"Honorable Grandson. You don't get to choose your clients." Konohamaru glared at the masked Shinobi, "Don't call me that. Ko-no-ha-ma-ru. Use it." He hates that he was always compared to his grandfather. It's like his shadow covered everything around him. He had to wonder if Uncle Asuma felt that way.

"Yeah Kono-baka. You don't get to choose. You should really stop complaining." Sakura stated as she rolled her eyes at the boy. In frustration he turned away in a huff. Why did pretty girls act so mean to him.

Sasuke spoke for the first time since they left, "You may be stronger than him, but you're more annoying than Naruto."

Konohamaru put his hands in his pockets. That was another thing that bothered him. He may not have been close to Naruto, but he liked his pranks. Naruto was funny. Plus he never treated him different because of his grandfather being the Hokage. He wished he could have become a shinobi to. Now nobody knows where he is.

While lost in thought he barely recognized the movement. Two shadows wrapped a chain around Kakashi tearing him in half. Drawing a kunai he quickly jumped in front of Tazuna along with Sakura. His heart was racing seeing two masked ninja. They each had a massive clawed glove connected to a chain.

"Sasuke!" He yelled as the kunai shot passed him the same time he threw his. Both hit the chain breaking it in two. Seeing his opportunity he charged the one to his left while Sasuke took on the other.

Redirecting the claw of the ninja he kicked out. First hitting his shin, "Fire Release: Flame Bullet!" The quick but powerful stream of fire hit the man head on. He screamed in pain as the explosion sent him crashing into a tree barely alive.

Looking back Sasuke jumped up kicking the man's arm out of the way. Flipping back his other foot landed directly on his neck knocking him unconscious. Looking back at Konohamaru, he gave a quick approving nod. They may not get along but when it comes to combat they were pretty even.

"Great job guys." Looking up in a tree they saw Kakashi standing there. In his hand was his red book. Shutting it he appeared between them, "Konohamaru tie them to that tree over there." Turning menacingly to the old drunker, "Tazuna we need to have a talk."

After the run in with Miezu and Gōzu, so called Demon Brothers Team 7 ran a much tighter ship. Going the rest of the way to the rally point in diamond formation. A ferry man was waiting for them on the river side.

Making their way across they saw the bridge. It was beyond massive, "Holy crap! Look at it!" Konohamaru yelled out.

"Quiet boy." The ferryman said, "You want us to be spotted!" Shrinking down Tazuna smiled at the boy's enthusiasm, "This is the greatest hope for my village. I have to finish it."
