Okay, today is Sunday. Yesterday I said that I was gonna investigate everyone in town. After my hands were full with bags, I decided that I could hardly move and went home. I said the same thing the night before.

I have a big procrastination problem I now realize. This ends now. I shall investigate today! And Oliver shall come with me because he is my companion!

Oliver is put in my big magenta bag. The carrier is way too heavy, so I'll only put him in there if he needs to go to the vet.

I make sure I have everything and close the blinds. I turn off the light switch and lock the door before I head out.

First, I went to see Anya in her house. She was working on her research, as usual. She told me that she had made some progress but that she was still having trouble deciphering the ancient neurotransmitter data.

Then, I went to the diner to see Finley. She was sitting at a table, enjoying a chocolate sundae. I sat down across from her and started talking.

"Finley," I said. "Have you heard anything new about the Vermoirs?"

Finley shook her head. "Not really. They've been keeping a low profile lately."

"That's strange," I said. "I thought they would be more active now that they know we're on to them."

Finley shrugged. "Maybe they're planning something."

I nodded. "That's a possibility." I thanked Finley for the information and left.

As I headed out of the diner, I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. The Vermoirs were still out there, and I knew that they were up to something.

--------
I was about to head into another shop to interview some more people, when I just then remembered about the strange blue object.

It was the one that Vermoir was holding near the old library. I can't believe I forgot about it! I mean, he literally threatened the others that if they couldn't find me since I made the noise, he'd tear off their fingernails.

After recalling that painful memory, I then went to the local historical society.

They were able to provide me with some information about the object. It seemed to be an ancient artifact of unknown origin. The only thing they knew for sure was that it had been found in the ruins of an old temple.

I continued my research, but I couldn't find any more information about the object. It was as if it had simply appeared out of nowhere.

I began to wonder if the object was somehow connected to the loop. Perhaps it was the key to breaking free.

I decided to talk to Anya about my findings. She was probably still at her house, so I walked over there AGAIN.

When I arrived, I found her sitting at a table, surrounded by books.

"Jeremiah," she said. "I'm glad you're here."

"Thanks. You see, I have done some research on the object I mentioned before." I then started to explain, and Anya seemed to understand everything mentioned

--------

"It's possible that the object is connected to the loop," she said. "We should keep researching it."

I agreed. I knew that I had to find out more about the object. It might be the key to our freedom.

"Hey, Anya, do you think the rat knows what the blue object is?"
