A walk in the desert

During the walk through the east of the forest, Coco and I soon found that the direction to Ignitia was through a desert, which was filled with some pretty tough fire and mineral Nexomon. The one I caught next was incredibly tough was, oddly enough, Fistuff. A fitting name, since it had an electric attack that was able to take on my toughest Nexomon woozy, but I decided not to have fistuff on the team due to me not wanting a normal type on the team, I soon had a feeling that there would be a lot more Fire type Nexomon in Ignitia, given its name, I knew I had to train my team more levels including Croncho who evolved into Domigator at level 29 after beating up a few tamers  in the desert.

But when we finally arrived, we saw something shocking. A large crater with a giant dragon skeleton jutting out from the gigantic hole... with a large and long staircase leading into the giant chasm.

"Whoa... that's a very deep drop, isn't it?" I gawked at the sheer magnitude of the hole in front of us.

"Yep, they call that Grunda's Chasm. Stories claim that there used to be a very large and impressive city here, but it was demolished when a gigantic monster emerged from the ground and swallowed the city into the dirt and lava beneath," Coco said as I then looked in front of us and became surprised. Right there, directly in front of us, was Amelie. And she looked very serious right now.

"That's the story, more or less," she said as we approached her.

"Hey, Amelie? We wanted to get going to Ignitia to get some experience," I said, her shaking her head at that.

"Sorry, but all access to New Ignitia is cut off right now. A powerful Tyrant named Mulcimer is attacking the city and I am not allowing Bronze Tamers to join in. I suggest you do something else for now," Amelie said, me gasping at that and then remembering something.

"You say that, but I managed to defeat Nivalis with just my woozy's thunder. So why can't I go and help defeating Mulcimer?" I asked in annoyance.

"As a Bronze Tamer, Mulcimer is not your concern," she frowned in annoyance as she then went forward and went into what looked like a very important building. And who went into the building shortly after?

"I see that Ross wants a piece of the action as well. Maybe with enough annoyance, we can all three get into the gig," Coco smirked.

"Odd to hear you so enthused to take down a big and scary Tyrant," I smirked, him smiling at that.

"Don't get used to it." he frowned, me nodding at that as we then registered the warpstone and then went inside of the building and right behind Ross. And when the other Tamers finished signing up, we all three went up to Amelie at once, her smacking her face at that.

"Of course..." she groaned.

"And what's that supposed to mean?! Ross groaned.

"Yeah, what  my friend said," I said simply, yet bluntly.

"Ugh, fine, you can tag along as backup, but-" she was about to finish before Ross jumped for joy and rushed out without even thinking, me frowning at him.

"Welp, he's going to die," I frowned as I then looked at Amelie with a smile.

"I worry about Ross going for this job... please, try your hardest to protect him from any issues, okay? And make sure to bring a bunch of Mineral or Water Nexomon, since Mulcimer is a Fire type Tyrant," Amelie said.

With Domigator and Parchidna level 30 at my side I was more than prepared to face off with whoever this Mulcimer was.

I then went to the shop nearby to get some different items for healing as well as getting my new Nexomon party healed up from the healing traveler before I then proceeded down the long staircase to hell and we got to meet up at an elevator along with the other Tamers.
