Years Ago No POV
On a military nuke missile silo, a few light beams from the sky opened the hatches of the missiles and the missiles started getting taken straight out of their launching pads.
Inside
Man: <PA> security breach. Red Alert.
Officer; I didn't authorize a launch. Abort, abort!
Soldier: we're not launching the nuke, sir. Something's pulling them out of their silos.
The nukes were being pulled up straight to Vilgax's ship as inside, an explosion happened covering the soldiers in smoke as Vilgax's drones fired at the soldiers knocking them out as Vilgax, pre-injury, and Dark Arbiter walked forward as they looked at all the missiles.
One of Vilgax's drones was shot as Vilgax put his arms on an X-form blocked the laser blast that made him skid back.
Vilgax: you...
Plumber: it's over, Vilgax.
Plumber 2: you're going down.
Vilgax: many have tried, none have succeeded.
Plumber 2: until now, slime ball. <runs forward>
Plumber: Phil, wait!
Phil ran forward as Dark Arbiter used his powers to turn the remaining drone into a blaster as he blasted Phil back making him lose the helmet as Dark Arbiter held him on a choke hold and aimed the blaster at his head.
Vilgax: Lieutenant, I'll take it from here. Launch the missile.
Dark Arbiter traded places with Vilgax as Vilgax held Phil on a choke hold and aimed his blaster at his head as Dark Arbiter walked to a missile and placed his hand on it making it ready to launch.
Vilgax: back away or watch one of your cuties be destroyed. Put the weapon down, now!
Plumber: <drops his laser rifle>
Phil: you can't just let him get away.
Plumber; never said I would, kid.
The Plumber used a wrist laser to shot the blaster out of Vilgax's hand as Phil elbowed Vilgax in the gut and pushed him away from him as Dark Arbiter got the missile already launching.
Vilgax; you're too late.
Plumber: wrong. My timing's perfect.
The plumber kicked his laser rifle up as he caught it and shot a sticky net that latched Dark Arbiter and Vilgax into the missile as they tried to get free without success.
Vilgax: no!
The missile launched with them.
Phil; what are you doing?
The other Plumber took off his helmet revealing to be a young Max Tennyson.
Max; sending Vilgax out with a bang.
Vilgax: turn this off! Lieutenant!
It was too late as the missile hit Vilgax's ship blowing it up.
Max: <narrating> and then, Kablam-o. No more Vilgax and Dark Arbiter.
Present day
Max was driving the Rust Bucket away from Mount Rushmore.
Max; or so I thought, until today.
Ben: whoa, you were a hero?
Max: I was just a guy doing a job.
Gwen: excuse me, but exactly what was that job?
