Ella's POV

It has been a wonderful time getting to know Sonic and his friends. They are so kindhearted to everyone. I am sad for Cream because she misses her mother so much. The other Mobians are all orphans. I hope all of their parents are in heaven interceding for them. I got to know all of them when Mrs. Thorndyke had a party at her house. Cream was upset with Chris because he was saying unkind things about his mother when she couldn't talk to hers. I went to the mall with Tails, Amy, Cream, and Master Chris. I call him that because his parents are my employers. Amy, Cream, and Tails are stared at because they are famous and different. We go to the VIP section at the restaurant we are going to. The rich woman there attack us by pulling and tugging at us even Chris and I. They deal with Eggman and take care of him with Sonic. We go home afterward go to bed and fall asleep. 

The next day we prepare for a special event for Sonic the Hedgehog. He is receiving Confession and his First Holy Communion today on Sunday. I'm proud of how far he has come since he has come to Earth. We get dressed in our finest. Sonic is dressed in a black tuxedo with a blue tie, pants, and dress shoes. Tails comes up to him and looks completely exhausted. I remember that Sonic hates wearing clothes, especially pants. Amy asks Tails if he's alright. He says "Honestly, I'm not. It took me an hour to convince him to wear the shirt and tie. It took a whole other hour to make him wear the pants. I'm exhausted." Amy says "Sonic the Hedgehog!" He looks at her with shock and fear because she calls him Sonikku. When she calls him by his full name you know she's mad at him. She's like the mother of these Mobians even though Sonic is older than her. "Now go and apologize to Tails right now or you're going to feel the brunt of my hammer got it!" "Y-yes, ma'am. I mean Amy." He goes over to Tails and apologizes sincerely to him all the while looking back to make sure Amy's hammer is nowhere in sight. He breathes a sigh of relief and hugs Tails. Tails smiles and hugs him back. Sonic is safe from the danger of Amy's hammer for now. Hehehe. I find this hilarious when they both obviously like each other, but Sonic won't confess that he likes her back for whatever reason. 

We drive to the church and walk into 'The Ascension of Our Lord Jesus Christ Parish'. Sonic goes to the confession line. We all look at him while he is preparing for confession. He mumbles incoherent words probably his sins. The person beside him walks in the confessional to be freed from his sins. We give him a smile and a thumbs-up to encourage him. The person in the confessional walks out and holds the door for Sonic. He walks into the confessional. We have big smiles on our faces. He comes out with a smile on his face and there's a certain glow to his face. He has been freed from his sins by Jesus Christ. I'm so proud of him. He goes into a pew in front of us and prays his penance.

 Sonic's POV

Mass begins a few minutes later. Fr. Sebastian is the celebrant of the Mass. He is in Persona Christi, which means he is in the person of Christ. In the Sacrament of Confession and the Consecration of Bread and Wine to the Body and Blood, Jesus acts and does what the priest can't do. He absolves the sins and consecrates the bread and wine to the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ through the priest.   A priest can do the consecration, but no Deacon can do so. They can assist the priest by saying the Reading or the Gospel. He prays The Confiteor, which is prayed like this. "I confess to almighty God and to you, my brothers and sisters, that I have greatly sinned, in my thoughts and in my words, in what I have done and in what I have failed to do, And, striking their breast, they say: through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault; therefore I ask blessed Mary ever-Virgin, all the Angels and Saints, and you, my brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the Lord our God." We then repeat what the priest says in the Kyrie Eleison/Lord, have mercy. "Lord have mercy" "Lord have mercy."  "Christ have mercy." "Christ have mercy." "Lord have mercy." "Lord have mercy." We pray the Gloria, which is prayed like this. "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to people of goodwill. We praise you, we bless you, we adore you, we glorify you, we give you thanks for your great glory, Lord God, heavenly King, O God, almighty Father. Lord Jesus Christ, Only Begotten Son, Lord God, Lamb of God, Son of the Father, you take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us; you take away the sins of the world, receive our prayer; you are seated at the right hand of the Father, have mercy on us. For you alone are the Holy One, you alone are the Lord, you alone are the Most High, Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit, in the glory of God the Father. Amen."
