Chapter 2: The Forest

Y/N found himself in the woods with Slenderman as he looked around and then back at Slenderman, who speaks in Y/N's mind.

Slenderman: Follow me.

Y/N then followed beside Slenderman as he was curious where he is leading him but had a hard time following him as it was pitch black.

Y/N: Why is it pitch black; I can hardly see.

Slenderman looks at him.

Slenderman: Over time, you will train here and get use to walking these grounds. You will also learn how to navigate through the forest, and soon you won't travel through these woods without remembering every location and every tree. Not to mention, you must be careful out here.

Its blank face turned to Y/N as he did not know how to respond and just shrugged his shoulders to not make him mad. After what felt like an hour of walking as Slenderman glides through the trees with his tendrils but then Y/N wondered why he couldn't teleport themselves to the location.

Y/N: Hey uh, Slenderman, when are we going to get to your place? We've been walking for, oh, I don't know, about an hour a now and I'm just wondering.

Slenderman: One thing, all my proxies learn is to overcome showing weakness in any conditions. That means pushing through even in the harshest situations. But from what my proxies have told me about you, you should be able to do it.

Y/N agreed with him on that, he been through so much and still managed to push through even when he injured and was outmatched, he still managed to do so.

Y/N: So, you have others with you?

Slenderman: I do. Like I told you, the people there has been betrayed, hurt and rejected by everyone around them, just like you. I hope you can handle all the craziest.

Y/N: oh, trust me, I'd had more crazier roommates.

Y/N then remembered his old roommate Johnny.

After three weeks of living with Johnny Storm, Y/N has decided that he has to kick him out. Getting up in the morning he is preparing himself for work, when Johnny suddenly shouts that Electro is attacking the city. Y/N rushed out of his room changing into his Spider-Man costume when Johnny says he is joking and has him sit down for breakfast. Johnny apologizes for the wild partying that happened the night before. Before he leaves, Y/N is told to grab a jacket as it is supposed to be cold outside. When Y/N goes into the close he finds himself transported into the Negative Zone. Y/N is about to be swarmed by an army of Negative Zone insects, but Johnny comes through the portal with the Cosmic Control Rod and tells them to get back. Y/N was furious that Johnny had a portal to the Negative Zone installed in their apartment without telling him, let alone putting up signs warning people, Johnny apologizes again and sends Y/N on his way. Y/N was now more determined to kick out his new roommate.

Later in the day at Horizon Labs, Y/N was helping Peter give a presentation of his latest invention when he gets a call from Johnny. There is no emergency, the Torch is just bored and wants to know what's going on. While he and Peter are busy, his co-workers activate the device even though Peter has warned them not to. Johnny tells Y/N to get some drinks because he is having some people over that evening. Y/N ends the call even angrier than before, now he is determined to beat Johnny into unconsciousness and evict him after. After helping Peter, Y/N goes to the store in the pouring rain to buy the drinks. He gets a call from Johnny on the way home and is asked to bring chips. Y/N trudges back to the store to get them, now wanting to kill Johnny and collect the insurance.

Y/N returns home twenty minutes later to find a wild party going on which includes the Moloid children from the Future Foundation and the Universal Inhumans known as the Light Brigade. With Y/N's arrival, Mighnight Blade demands everyone take a shot of Kymel, mares milk from his homeworld. Johnny convinces Y/N to take a shot because it's non-alcoholic. Y/N takes the shot and with one shot, he was drunk and went wild. He parties with everyone all night long: speeding through the streets, getting into bar fights, and passing out in the streets. At a dance club that evening, while Johnny dances with Carol, his fiancée at the time, the Light Brigader named Stonethrower kisses Y/N.
