Chapter 8: Welcome To The Family

At the X-Men mansion, the heroes were all gathered as some who knew Y/N personally was devastated and shocked to see Y/N kill Kraven.

Johnny: Please tell me there's more alcohol.

Johnny was sitting at a bar with Logan as he was rubbing his temples while they listened to the Avengers, Fantastic Four, X-Men and Web Warriors argue.

Logan: I wish.

Logan tilted his empty glass, while looking towards the commotion as Tony was arguing with Julia while looking at the other conversations around them.

Logan: Want to bet who wins the catfight?

Johnny: Hm, psychic Spider-Woman or billionaire with a shit ton of world destroying weapons... Iron Man.

Logan: Make sense.

Johnny: The tension is so thick you can cut it with a knife.

The two then hear Tony yell at Julia.

Tony: It would have been better if we went after Spider-Man! The Negative Zone would have hold him-

Julia: Oh, yeah, like all the other super-powered individuals who didn't register during the Civil War, right? Y/N needs time, time that you don't seem to value! He was wrongfully imprisoned for life alongside all the villains he put away during his years as Spider-Man, were you expecting him to come back and be the happy and outgoing person he was?!

Tony: I was expecting him to know how to be a superhero, not a psychopath! We all have morals and Y/N forgot them when he killed Kraven!

Logan: Bud changed a lot.

Tony: It would have been better if he had simply surrendered to the authorities or they took him down!

Cyclops: Iron Man's right, that pathetic Homo-Sapien should have been arrested, he's likely causing trouble as we speak!

Elsewhere, Felicia Hardy was standing on a roof, while her face was stained with tears. She could not believe what she saw. Y/N killed Kraven in Time Sqaure. He was not influenced by a symbiote, he was not mind swapped, he did this by his own choice, he chose to kill and it was partly her fault. She did not believe him, she betrayed him, she called him a horrible person, she nearly killed him. She realized more clearly the sacrifices Y/N made for her. Now, she must live with the consequences of her actions.

Soon after, Logan could not believe what he was hearing from the heroes.

Logan: You all can't be serious?! Seriously?! Hunting down Spider-Man, one of our closest allies and friends?! No way in hell!

Charles: Logan, you cannot let emotions control you, especially not-

Logan: Shut up, Charles! I am not going to hunt down one of my best friends! And don't you dare use that 'He's a threat to Mutant-kind' bullshit! Y/N has helped the mutants' countless times and asked for little in return, so tell me, how is he a threat to mutant-kind now?!

Logan was beyond pissed. First, the mutants forced Y/N away because his body was taken over, which Logan hated himself for not noticing, and now they want to attack Y/N.

Charles: Iron Man, Reed Richards and most of the heroes are in favor of taking down Y/N. If he's willing to surrender, he will be taken to the Negative Zone. If we're forced into confrontation, we may have to kill him.

Logan: That's what you want, isn't it, you old-

Cyclops: Spider-Man must be stopped. If he shows up again, we must be ready.   

Meanwhile, Y/N was expecting to return home and catch his breath after the death battle with Kraven. Instead, he got one of the most uncomfortable incidents in his life.

After returning home. he could tell they saw the news and saw a few scared faces as they never seen Y/N that pissed off before but soon got a lot of praise from the killers and proxies alike, even Jeff praised him.

Y/N: Did you just praise me?

Jeff: Don't push it.

Y/N: Sorry. How's Kate?

Kate then shows herself, fully healed much to the relief and confusion of Y/N.

Y/N: How did you heal up so fast?

Nurse Ann: They all heal up pretty fast, their resistance levels being high helped.

Slenderman walks up to him.

Slenderman: It seems you have finally warmed up to the whole killing deal, very well, my proxy.

Y/N smiles and nods. After a long time talking with a lot of the pastas, they begin to leave as Y/N was about to go to Kate's room to hang up his suit when Kate grabbed Y/N's forearm and she pulls him into the training room.

Y/N: I thought we were done with training?

Kate: No, we are. But there's something we have to do.

When they got into the room, Y/N sees the other proxies.

Masky: Good, you got the Spider.

Y/N: What's this about?

Toby: It's time...

Toby smirked behind his facial gear and Y/N sees that he pulled out a dagger, getting close to him.

Y/N: Wait, is this payback for when I accidentally flung you into Slender? I told you I was sorry.

Toby: N-Not exactly. It's fo-for something else...

Toby grabbed his left hand, forcing his palm open.

Y/N: What're you doing then?

Kate: Don't worry, Y/N, it's a little thing between us proxies that we have to do. It's like forming a bond between all of us.

Toby: Mind if I draw some blood?

he then rammed the dagger into Y/N's palm, dragging it across, causing blood to spurt out and trail down his fingers and onto the ground. Toby does the same to his blood and then passes the dagger to Hoodie, Masky and Kate who all do the same. Toby holds out his bloody hand towards Y/N and the others do the same, so Y/N holds Toby's and Kate's hand as their blood drips onto the floor.

Toby: This is a bond between us proxies. N-Not even Slenderman himself could break the tie between us. We-We're like family now, bonded together by blood. No matter what, we'll a-always have each other's backs, even if we may get on e-each other's n-nerves. This is something we share that the others don't. Th-this is our pact, our pr-promise that we'll always remain a team, no m-matter what. You guys are a-all I've got and that means the world to me...

Y/N noticed Toby seems emotional when he spoke that, as if he was thinking about something that affected him in the past.

Masky: Always, Toby. Even if you may get on my last nerves every single day, you're still family and I'll always have your back,

Hoodie: I'll never turn my back on you guys. You guys are my ride or die.

Kate: I know I don't talk much, but I'll always look out for you guys. I'd sacrifice myself for each of you if it ever came to be. The other Creepypastas are nothing to you guys.

Kate looked at Y/N as he looked at the ground and to his amazment, the blood from their hands all ran together and had form a huge bloody Operator symbol on the ground.

This was his family now. His new family. Even though he had only joined them three months ago, he already felt so close to them. Hoodie. Toby. Masky. Kate. he's a part of them now. They are a part of him.

Y/N: I love you guys, and tonight proved it. If anyone ever fucks with any of you, they are dead. No hesitation.

Hoodie: Then it's done. We're one again today, now with Y/N.

Hoodie lowers his arms as the others do the same and the bloody symbol on the floor slowly disappears. Y/N watched in amazment, he looked at the other proxies and grinned, feeling a sense of belonging, something he never felt with the other heroes. he loves this little cult.

Y/N: So, now that we're officially a family, Masky, you wanna volunteer to be the mom?
