Kylie waits for her drink, phone in her hand.

Can we talk?

She rolls her eyes as she grabs her drink and turns to walk back to her table. She's stopped suddenly when she runs into someone, ineffectively spilling her matcha everywhere. "Oh shit, I am so sorry. I-I wasn't looking." She quickly puts down her, now empty cup, on the counter and grabs napkins. She hands them to the stranger while she grabs more and wipes down the counter. "Can I get you another one? On me. Literally even, if that'll make things even between us." She jokes. The girl sighs and looks up, and Kylie swears, she swears, she was looking at an angel. A fucking angel. "No, you know what? I think I'm ok. I've probably hit my limit by now." The girl sighs. Kylie smiles. "Late night studying?" The girl pauses. "Um, yeah. I'm starting to regret choosing my-my major." Kylie nods. "I'm sorry." She laughs. "What's your major?" She glances over at her friends who are calling her over. "Uh, social work. I wanna help kids and families find their forever homes." She blushes.

"I think that's beautiful." Kylie smiles at her. The girl bites her lip. "Thanks. Um, I'm gonna head back to my dorm. Change my shirt." Kylie nods. "Right, right. Uh, sorry again." The girl smiles and shakes her head. "It's ok. It was an accident." She opens the door and waves. "Uh, my name's Kylie, by the way!" She shouts as the girl walks out. She sighs before walking back to her table, her matcha forgotten about. When she saw the looks on her friends faces, she knew she was in for it. "Soo, what was that about?" Ruby smirks as she drinks her iced water. "Nothing." "That didn't look like nothing to me." Mel smirks as she sips her frappe. She casually throws an arm over Ruby's shoulder as she leans in. "Were you...flirting with that girl?" Kylie shakes her head as she flicks water at them both. "No, i was not flirting. And did you not see that? I just spilled my matcha all over her." Ruby nods. "Mhm, you seem a lot more upset that you spilled it on her rather than you spilling your drink in general and having to get a new one. Am i sensing chemistry?"

"You two are awful, i can see why you're the perfect couple now." Kylie rolls her eyes. "Oh come on, we're only teasing." Mel removes her arm from Ruby and grabs Kylie's hand. "I mean, if you think you like her, I'd say go for it." Ruby nods. "She's right." "I don't even know if she likes girls!" Kylie shakes. "Oh honey, i saw that look she gave you. She likes you, 100%." Mel smirks. Kylie groans. "I don't even know if I'll ever see her again." "Well, she obviously goes here, maybe you'll see her around?" Ruby shrugs. "I hope so, god she was beautiful...." She whispered.

Malia walks back to her dorm. She wants to be mad, she wants to be frustrated at the girl who spilled coffee all over her, but she can't. All she can do is think about those beautiful brown eyes that captivated her. Like they were staring into her soul. She wasn't sure if she liked it or not. She unlocks the door and slams it shut. "Whoa, you good?" Morgan asks her. "I'm fine." Malia goes to her room and quickly changes her shirt. She throws her old one in the sink and goes to grab milk from the fridge. "What happened girl?" "Someone bumped into me and made me spill my coffee everywhere." She pours the milk in the sink and goes to her closet. She gets a new shirt and puts it on before walking back out. She turns on the faucet and cleans her coffee stained shirt. "Did you happen to catch a name?" Malia sighs. "I don't know, i think she said Kylie or something? I wasn't exactly paying attention to that, i was more pissed about my shirt." Morgan nods. "Ok, well Tristan is coming over later, if that's ok?" Malia nods. "Yeah, that's fine. Just keep it down." She smirks. "Shut up, Malia! You're just jealous that i get some and you don't." She rolls her eyes as Morgan goes back to her room. "Whatever!" She thinks back to the moment. She was a stuttering idiot. She's usually so calm and collected but something about this girl. One look and she was acting like an idiot. She couldn't deny, she was immediately attracted to the girl. She groans as she turns the water off. She doesn't even know if this girl is into girl. For all she knows, that girl was caught off guard. Yeah, that's it. There's no way someone that pretty was into girls too, she's not that lucky. Never has been.

She goes to her room and hangs her shirt on the door to dry. She grabs her phone and opens Instagram. It wouldn't hurt, right? She looks Kylie's name. She really wishes she had her last name but oh well. She scrolls until she finds her. Private. Should have known. Would it be weird to send a follow request? It would, wouldn't it? She doesn't even know the girl and yet she can't stop thinking about her. She shakes her head. No, stop. She's probably straight anyways. She flops back on her bed and groans. Why does it always have to be the pretty girls?
