Y/N and Krystal are back at the motel
"I mean I know why he's acting like that and I completely understand I mean anyone would!" she said with a hint of irritation"It's just would it be so bad for him to open up a little? i mean I just wanna be there for him or maybe a close friend and that's enough for me" Krystal said in a whisper as she hug her knees
Y/N listened intently, her head nodding in understanding. She knew Stan could be difficult, and his aloofness was nothing new.
"I get it," Y/N agreed, then a sly grin tugged at the corners of her lips as she looked at Krystal.
"But really, sweetheart, just a friend?" she teased, a playful tone in her voice.
Krystal sigh "Fine i guess operation 'Making Stan completely in love with me' can be put on hold, I mean you try flirting with that piece of meat?! the guy's got games!" she exclaimed throwing her hand in the air
Y/N chuckled, amused by Krystal's dramatic display.
"Oh, that old man is definitely a tough nut to crack," she agreed, crossing her arms. "But there's gotta be a crack in his armor somewhere. He's not made of stone, no matter how much he pretends to be."
The Next few days
At the shack, everyone was working like any other day Dipper and mabel was out playing or something Krystal was now the one to excuse herself making y/n to cover for her so she can hang out with the twins
Stan noticed the shift in Krystal's behavior, the way she was distancing herself. He tried to ignore it, to brush it off as meaningless, but he found himself stealing glances towards her when he thought no one was watching.
His thoughts were filled with reminders that he shouldn't care, that he shouldn't feel guilty. Krystal was just an employee, just a worker. That was all. He had no right to feel this way, no reason to worry about her feelings.
Yet, he did.

As Krystal wandered into the woods, she soon stumbled upon Dipper and Mabel, who were eagerly searching for any signs of anomaly or mystery.
"Hey, you two!" she called out cheerfully. "Need any help with the mystery hunting?"
Dipper looked up, a hint of surprise in his eyes.
"Krystal? What are you doing here?" he asked, curious.
Mabel, however, was immediately ecstatic.
"You're gonna help us? Yay!!" she exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
Krystal chuckled at Mabel's enthusiasm.
"Yeah, I thought you might need a little extra help," she replied, a smile on her face. "Lead the way, detectives."
As they walked deeper into the woods, Krystal turned her attention to Dipper.
"So, what are we looking for out here? Ghosts? Aliens? Giant monsters?" she asked curiously, looking around at the dense foliage.
Dipper straightened up, a serious look on his face.
"We're not sure yet," he admitted. "We found some strange footprints that didn't match any known animal, and there have been reports of weird lights in the sky at night."
