Prologue - The Betrayal

Issei Hyoudou was just a perverted boy with humble beginnings, he was murdered by his first girlfriend Raynare, then was revived by Rias Gremory, the Heiress of the Gremory Clan as a servant in her peerage, being the only pawn and the host of the Red Dragon Emperor, Ddraig.

From there he became involved in the Supernatural World as a Major player, from beating Riser Phoenix to facing the Cadre Kokabiel, facilitating the Peace between the Three Factions, being bitten by Fenrir and surviving, fighting the White Dragon Empress to a standstill, stopping Shalba Beelzebub, Entering the Juggernaut Drive and surviving, beating the Strongest Youth Devil Sairaorg Bael, dying once again and being revived with a new body built of the flesh of Great Red and the power of Ophis. From fighting in the Vampire Civil War to the Evil Dragon War and becoming a High-Class Devil then an Ultimate-Class Devil and in the ultimate fight doing what was thought impossible and killing the Beast of the Apocalypse, saving both the Supernatural and Human Worlds.

After making all of those achievements and being the Pillar of the Faction Alliance, he was also engaged to Nine girls:
Rias Gremory, Akeno Himejima, Koneko Toujou, Kuroka Toujou, Xenovia Quarta, Rossweisse, Ravel Phoenix, Irina Shidou and Asia Argento.

One day, he saw that the Factions excluding the Shinto, Hindu, Norse, and Angel Faction voted that he be exiled and that they saw him as a tool, his 8 pawn pieces were ripped from him by Rias, leaving him in extreme pain, though it wouldn't kill him, he would be severely weakened for quite a time.

3 of the nine girls in his harem stood by his side and supported him, those being Kuroka Toujou, Irina Shidou, and Rossweisse. As a result of the Alliance throwing away Issei like a tool, the Angel, Shinto, Norse, and Hindu Factions withdrew from the Alliance, severely weakening it.

Soon afterwards, the Hyoudou Family decided to also throw him out of their home and they disowned him, calling him a mistake and a stupid pervert they wished he was never born and he ruined their family name with his actions.

Miki: You have been a disgrace to our family with your stupid perverted actions and antics and I've had enough.

Gorou: As of today, you're not a Hyoudou, leave my house you failure, and don't look back here. I cannot believe I prayed for you to reach full term and be born.

Miki: You've ruined our name. Get out I never wish to see you again!

That broke Issei's heart to see the two people who should have supported him in the most difficult time of his life throw him away like he was nothing. He left the Hyoudou Home, with his important documentation and left the country as a whole. When Rossweisse, Irina, and Kuroka found out about this they were furious, along with them leaving Kuroka beat the Hyoudou couple within an inch of their lives as they took their belongings and left the mansion intending on finding Issei.

Kuroka returned to Team Vali, to which she told her team leader about the situation and she was infuriated by it, cutting ties with the Alliance and especially the Grigori. Azazel tried to convince Valiana to keep her team in the Alliance and Team DxD, but she refused telling her former adoptive father:

Valiana: You think that Ise and I are just tools, but we are more than that. We are the Heavenly Dragons of Domination and Supremacy, the hosts of Ddraig and Albion, the Twin Sky Dragons. Once you realize Ise's importance, you'll realize my importance as well, you've done a lot of damage by throwing Ise away, don't think I'll ever trust you again and don't come crawling for mine or Ise's help again, Goodbye Azazel.

Rossweisse returned to her home Faction where they were able to remove her rook piece and she ceased being a devil and resumed her previous duties as Odin's bodyguard. Team Slashdog did the same thing as Team Vali in anger and protest of the Alliance's decision and the Shinto Faction took them in and they became a team under the Faction and the Red Dragon Accord.
