Chapter 4🤍

READER'S POV

,,(Y/N)!!! Why can't we do something cool? I don't even use any weapons!!", Yuji whines and crosses his arms in front of his chest. He is such a baby.

I sigh and run a hand through my hair:,,It might be boring to you but you have to learn how to use cursed weapons too. And you have to learn how to defend yourself from those weapons. That's why I have also brought Maki here today."

Everyone looks up at Maki and she just scoffs and waves her hand:,,Yeah, but I want to get this over as soon as possible." I smile amused and watch the interaction between Nobara, Megumi and Maki, feeling a twinge of nostalgia. I was also once this young.

,,Okay guys! Everyone, grab a weapon!", I clap my hands and watch them all grabbing a weapon. Then we walk out and to the big green sports field outside.

,,Good. Megumi will fight against Nobara and Maki against Yuji!", I sit down on the grass and watch them fight. Yuji is definitely no good match for Maki. Because she can only fight with cursed weapons, she is way better at fighting with them.

My gaze wanders to Megumi and Nobara. Both of them are okay. Nobara's cursed technique with the hammer, the needles and the voodoo doll allow her to have a small amount of weapon fight knowledge. Megumi on the other hand is an ambitious student whose cursed technique is actually the Ten Shadows Technique, but he is still good.

I continue to watch in amusement when suddenly a cold shiver runs down my spine. I turn around and notice a shadow behind a tree. While narrowing my eyes, I slowly stand up.

I walk towards the shadow, slowly letting cursed energy run through my body, in case the shadow is danger. My heart is beating fast, my hands shivering a bit and my jaw clenching.

When I arrive at the tree, I take a deep breath and look behind it and... Of course there is nobody. But... How? I saw someone. I even felt his or her cursed energy. How?

How did that person or curse just disappear? I don't understand... I blink a few times and rub my eyes. Then I look at the spot again. Nobody.

I sigh and shake my head. It's just my head. It's playing tricks again. I turn around and walk back to the students.

CHOSO'S POV

I try to steady my breath while hiding on a branch of the tree, looking down at her. If she looks up, I'm dead. If she hears me breathing, she'll keep looking around.

My heart doesn't even help me. It should stop beating so fast. I look at her, feeling heat creeping up my cheeks. And I have to kill her. So stop feeling this way.

After a while, she walks back to the students, her hair flying with the wind and her hips moving slightly- No. Stop. Don't look at her.

I look away and bite my lower lip. Why did I even come here? Then I look back at her, seeing her watch her students fight again. Her hair and the contour of her face fit perfectly. The way her eyelids flatter slightly when she yawns, makes my heart skip a beat.

Calm down. But no matter how often I tell myself that, my heart leads a life on its own, its ears cowered so that the things my mind says, aren't heard.

I snap out of my thoughts when I see a movement and look in the direction, watching her pulling her hoodie off. She reveals a black and slim shirt, which accentuates her curves on her waist and her breasts.

My heart skips another beat and more heat rises up to my cheeks. Oh...My.. I put my hand on my mouth and look away.

,,What the actual fuck?",I mumble and put my hand on the tree branch, licking my dry lips. Then I climb down quietly and run away.

How does she manage to make me feel this way? This is not fair. I have to kill her. I have to...

Jeez. She's going to be the death of me.
