Hello friends.
Currently I am working on two stories. I hope you will like both of them. -N.

In one moment, life changes,
In one moment, the world changes.

Life's paths change,
In one moment, destiny changes.

In one heartbeat of time,
Life's picture changes.

One moment's mistake,
Becomes a lifetime's punishment.

Life's pace changes,
In one moment, the destination changes.

Ragini Gadodia walked down the deserted road, the quiet evening sky painted with shades of orange and purple as the sun dipped below the horizon. The streetlights flickered to life, casting long shadows on the pavement. She had left college late, using any excuse to delay her return home, to avoid facing the turmoil that had taken root in her heart.

A week had passed since Swara and Lakshya’s engagement, but the pain was still fresh, the betrayal still raw. It felt like her whole world had been turned upside down in such a short time. Everything she had believed in, everything she had hoped for, had crumbled before her eyes.

How did it all go so wrong? She remembered the beginning, the whirlwind that had swept her off her feet when she first met Lakshya. He was everything she had ever dreamed of—charming, kind, and with a smile that made her heart skip a beat. When he had proposed to her, she felt as if all her prayers had been answered. That moment was etched in her memory like a beautiful painting—him, down on one knee, looking at her with eyes full of promise.

She had said yes, believing that this was the start of her fairytale. Her dreams were simple: a loving husband, a happy family, a life full of love and respect. She had always been the obedient daughter, the dutiful sister. This was supposed to be her moment, her happiness.

But life had other plans. The first cracks appeared when Lakshya started distancing himself. He was polite but distant, kind but not affectionate. There was always something missing, something she couldn’t quite put her finger on. She tried to convince herself that it was just nerves, that he would come around, that they would make it work.

Then, the truth came crashing down. He loved someone else. He loved Swara.

Ragini’s steps faltered as the memory hit her like a punch to the gut. She could still see it so clearly—the way Lakshya looked at Swara, the love in his eyes that he had never shown her. It was as if everything she had believed in, everything she had hoped for, was a lie. The humiliation, the betrayal, it was more than she could bear. It wasn’t just about losing Lakshya; it was about losing the future she had imagined with him.

She remembered the day he confessed his feelings for Swara. The words echoed in her mind, a cruel reminder of how blind she had been. “I’m sorry, Ragini. I thought I could love you, but…I love Swara. I always have.” His voice had been soft, apologetic, but it did nothing to ease the pain that tore through her heart.
