वो सुन लेता है मुझसे बिना कुछ कहे, हर एक बात,
मेरी ख़ामोशी में भी उसे मिलते हैं मेरे अल्फाज़|He listens to everything I say without me saying anything,
He finds my words even in my silenceAt the Maheshwari Mansion:
The grand hall of the Maheshwari mansion was full of activity. Both families sat around, eagerly discussing the details of Swara and Laksh's wedding. The men were huddled in the study room, while the women took their seats in the living room.
In study room
Durga Prasad Maheshwari, sitting with Shekhar Gadodia, spoke with his characteristic calm. "Shekhar ji, panditji ne jo date nikali hai, woh 30 din baad ki hai. Kya aapko yeh theek lagta hai?" (Shekhar ji, the date suggested by the pandit is 30 days from now. Do you think it’s suitable?)
Shekhar nodded, reflecting on the timeline. "Haan, Durga Prasad ji, bilkul. 30 din kaafi hone chahiye taiyari ke liye." (Yes, Durga Prasad ji, absolutely. 30 days should be enough for the preparations.)
Sharmishtha, joining them with Annapurna and Sujata, smiled warmly. "Swara or laksh ko yeh din yaad rahe, isliye humein sab kuch perfect karna hoga. Family ka saath ho toh sab kuch theek ho jaata hai." (Swara and laksh should remember this day, so we have to make it perfect)
Durga Prasad Maheshwari, the family patriarch, sat confidently in his armchair, a proud smile on his face as he discussed the marriage of his son Laksh to Swara Gadodia with Shekhar Gadodia.
"Swara is a lovely girl, Shekhar ji. We are honored to welcome her into our family," Durga Prasad remarked, his tone filled with approval.
"Thank you, Durga Prasad ji. Swara has always dreamed of a grand wedding. We want everything to be perfect," Shekhar replied, glancing at his wife, Sharmishtha, who nodded enthusiastically.
On other side
Both families sat around, eagerly discussing the details of Swara and Laksh's wedding. The men were huddled in the study room, while the women took their seats in the living room.
Annapurna, calm and graceful as ever, added, "Bilkul Sharmishtha ji. Swara ka shaadi ka din hum sabke liye khaas hoga. Maheshwari parivar apni taraf se sab kuch best karega." (Absolutely, Sharmishtha ji. Swara’s wedding day will be special for all of us. The Maheshwari family will do its best from our side.)
Sujata, never one to stay silent for long, chimed in with a mixture of pride and anxiety. "Aur hamare Laksh ke liye bhi yeh din khaas hoga. Waise toh Adarsh, Sanskar aur Laksh dono hi sab zimmedaari sambhal lenge. Bas mera Sanskar ko zyada kaam na mile." (And this day will be special for our Laksh too. Adarsh, Sanskar and Laksh will handle all the responsibilities, I just hope Sanskar doesn’t get overloaded with work.)
Shekhar, practical as ever, shifted the conversation back to logistics. "Humein caterers, decorators, aur sab functions ki planning karni hogi. Swara ke sapno ke hisaab se sab hona chahiye." (We’ll need to plan for the caterers, decorators, and all the events. Everything should be according to Swara’s dreams.)
Durga Prasad, thoughtful as always, added, "Yeh sirf Swara aur Laksh ka milan nahi hai, yeh dono parivaron ke rishte ko mazboot karne ka mauka bhi hai. Hum is shaadi ko yaadgaar banayenge." (This is not just about Swara and Laksh, it’s an opportunity to strengthen the bond between our two families. We will make this wedding unforgettable.)
