Even though they tried to shape my soul
With the traditions of gods they knew,
My heart, restless, never found its peace
In paths they wanted me to pursue. But when the call to prayer reached my ear,
Its echo stirred deep within me.
Unknowingly, I carried out the song,
Repeat it silently, endlessly.I wondered what those words could mean,
And why my heart was pulled this way.
I longed for the truth, for something pure,
For light to guide me, show the way.I’ve always loved what stands alone,
What walks the path untraveled, free.
In following the crowd, I’d lose myself,
And so I resisted, instinctively. And there, in silence, the truth took root,
A seed planted deep within my soul.
In time it grew, and with it came
The peace that made me whole.☝️☝️☝️
