She couldn’t stop staring at her. She was in a trance from across the room, eyes glued to a femme fatale. She sat there in the corner with a smirk, not losing eye contact once. She sat next to her sister, yet only paid attention to her.

Her name was Stacy, and Stacy fell in love with her sister’s best friend, Becky. Stacy has known Becky for a few years before she fell in love with her. Becky is two years older than Stacy. When they first met, Stacy was seventeen when she met Becky and Becky was nineteen. Since then, the two girls have been an inseparable duo, able to make each other laugh when needed. Stacy’s sister, Macy, was happy that they get along so well. She’s the oblivious sister.

Stacy was sure about the moment that she fell in love with Becky, even if they had known each for a whole five months. It was the day that turned from the worst day to the best day she ever had in her life. She still remembers it to this day. She smiles at the mere thought of that day.

Stacy’s boyfriend had broken up with her that day and Becky had offered to take her out for the day as a way to cheer her up. Throughout the day, she let Stacy get whatever she wanted. Becky spoiled Stacy the whole day and made her feel loved, made her laugh and smile until they went home. She bought her expensive designer clothes, bags and even jewellery she thought would suit Stacy. When they left the mall, Becky insisted on carrying the bags all the way to her car. Becky treated Stacy better than any of her exes had when she needed to be cheered up and while they dated her.

Ever since that day, Stacy had fallen in love with her sister’s best friend, Becky. Theoretically, she has been crushing on her for over a year now. So far, nothing has happened between them. So, why does Becky keep staring at Stacy with those eyes? To others around them it looks like a staring contest, but to them they know why they can’t look away from each other.

It’s simple.

The memory of the last time they were in the same room together.

Even the thought of it sends a shiver down her spine. She could feel every touch, feel every kiss and remember every word that was whispered into her ear. Even if it happened a few days ago, Stacy wanted it to happen again. She wanted to feel Becky against her body again. Just to have her on top of her, giving her praise after praise. She wanted to hear Becky whisper things into her ear again just to feel that shiver go down her spine.

She hadn’t realised she had been daydreaming until she felt a hand on her shoulder shake her. When she looked away from Becky, to see who shook her, Stacy was surprised to see her sister Macy with a worried expression. Stacy was confused about why Macy would be looking at her that way. Did something bad happen and she didn’t realise? Whatever it was, she wanted to know about it, even if it was something stupid.

“What’s wrong?” Stacy asked her sister.

“You and Becky have been giving each other the bedroom eyes for the last five minutes. What’s up with that?” Macy asked her.

Stacy looked at her sister like she just told her she killed her dog. Was it that noticeable? Just act stupid, she thought to herself.

“Excuse me?” Stacy asked Macy with wide eyes.

“Honestly, you look like you were fucking each other with your eyes.” Macy said with a small chuckle before sitting down on the arm of the couch that Stacy was sitting on.

“What? No, I would never do that. She’s your best friend, I wouldn’t dare do that to you.” Stacy replied quickly.

“Really?” Macy asked her with a raised eyebrow.

“Never.” Stacy answered calmly.

“Okay, if you say so. I’m gonna ask Becky.” Macy said as she started to walk away from her.

“Okay.” Stacy mumbled to herself as she watched her sister walk away from her.

When she looked back at Becky’s seat, she noticed she wasn’t there. Where is she? The thought ran through her head for a few seconds before she felt a hand around her waist. She looked to the side to see who it was and smiled when she saw Becky with a smug look on her face.

“Hello there.” Becky said to Stacy with a smirk.

“What do you think you’re doing?” Stacy asked Becky as she looked at her with a shocked expression.

“I’m trying to have some fun, but I can’t because of your sister.” Becky whispered into Stacy’s ear.

“She just came over to ask me if you and I have hooked up behind her back.” Stacy tells Becky.

“Well? What did you say?” Becky asks Stacy as she leaves a kiss on her neck.

“I told her we hadn’t done anything.” Stacy answers quickly with a squeal as she feels Becky’s lips on her neck.

“Hey, don’t worry about it. I’ll make sure she won’t find out anytime soon. Is that okay, darling?” Becky reassured her with another kiss on her jaw.

All Stacy could do was nod her head. She had just been called ‘darling’ by her crush. It wasn’t a shock when she felt herself go weak in the knees after being called ‘darling’. Maybe it was because no one had called her that for a very long time. Maybe it was because of the person who it came from. Maybe it was both. It was definitely both reasons.

She definitely had a thing for being called ‘darling’. Stacy had a thing for a lot of stuff that Becky has said or done. The way Becky speaks reminds Stacy of a 1950s movie actress. Her voice was soothing when she was talking about anything and everything. She always found her voice alluring, like a siren driving you to your death.

Becky did enjoy watching 1950s movies, after all. She never cared about the genre of movie she watched. In her mind it was: If it’s got a good plot and good actors/actresses she’ll watch it.

“I’m gonna go get us some drinks, I’ll be back in a second.” Becky said as she left a kiss on Stacy’s cheek before walking off to get drinks.

Stacy followed Becky’s figure walk off with a grin that would put the Cheshire cat to shame. Her hand reached up to touch the cheek that had been kissed a mere moment ago. She looked at the ground with a smile, and as she looked up she came face-to-face with her younger sister, Lacy.

All the colour drained from her face when she looked at her sister. Her younger sister has just seen Macy’s best friend flirt and kiss Stacy. Her thoughts were running wild as they kept staring at each other for a few more seconds before Lacy took off running. It took Stacy a few seconds to refunction and chase after Lacy as she knew who she was running to.
