Becky and Stacy stared at each other for a few seconds before Stacy ran over to her. As Stacy neared Becky, she had a look of anger on her face and her fists were clenched together by her side. As Stacy neared Becky, Becky had a look of terror in her eyes and started to back away as Stacy stalked towards her.

“Look, Stacy, I’m sorry.” Becky said as her eyes widened in fear.

“I don’t care. You never told me that you were dating my sister and then you told her that we had sex the day after we did it. You are such a fucking cunt.” Stacy said as anger coursed through her veins.

“I never meant-” Becky began to say before she was interrupted by a slap to her face. “OW! What was that for!?” She shouted as she held the cheek that was slapped.

“I trusted you and you ended up throwing it all away without telling me. How am I supposed to trust you now?” Stacy asked as her voice started to quiver through her anger.

“I’m sorry, really I am.” Becky tried to talk to Stacy but was ignored by her.

“No, you don’t get to say sorry. Not today, not tomorrow, not ever.” Stacy said as she poked Becky in the chest with her index finger in anger.

“Why? Why can’t I say the words ‘I’m sorry’? Tell me why.” Becky asked as she was getting frustrated with Stacy.

“It’s because I fucking love you okay!” Stacy finally admitted to Becky. “That’s why you can’t say sorry.” She finished saying before she looked away from her and stepped away from Becky.

Becky and Macy both stared at Stacy in shock at the revelation. They never expected her to say anything like that. Stacy leaned back against the fence and proceeded to fall down it as she brought her knees up to her chest. She couldn’t even bother to look at either one of them so she just stared ahead of her at the fence in front of her. Not once did she cry as she sat there staring at a spot on the fence not moving a muscle.

She didn’t want to move from where she was sitting.

Why did everything she had go to shit?

Why don’t they trust me?

Am I really that important to them?

Do I mean nothing to them?

Do I mean anything to her?

Was it even true what she said that night?

Why do I still love her?

Thoughts flew through her mind as she continued to space out. It got to the point where Macy had to sit down next to her and put her arm around her shoulder. Lacy slowly walked over to where her sister’s were sitting and sat on the other side of Stacy, laying her head on her shoulder. Then, out of nowhere she started laughing. It started off light and quiet but progressively became heavier and louder as her shoulder shook with her laughter.

Stacy carried on laughing to herself as she stood up and began to walk towards the back door. She even kept laughing when Macy pulled her away from the door and into a hug. She even kept laughing when she started to cry and hug her sister back. Her laughing slowly turned into sobs as she buried her face into her sister’s shoulder and held onto her like her life depended on it. It really did. Stacy carried on crying as Macy rubbed her back in a comforting way. Her crying only stopped when she ran out of tears to cry and just held onto her sister a little while longer.

“Let’s get you upstairs and into bed. Does that sound like a plan?” Macy asked as she weaved her hand through Stacy’s hair.

All Stacy could do was nod to her sister and follow her as she walked inside.

The two sisters walked up the stairs, keeping tight hold of each other’s hands. Stacy wiped at her eyes as she climbed the stairs behind her sister. Once they got to Stacy’s room, Macy walked in first and cleaned up the shards of glass that laid on the floor and placed a blanket over the body mirror on the back of the door before letting Stacy in. Stacy immediately went to her bed as soon as she walked into her room and curled up into a ball, hugging herself tightly.

Macy stared at her younger sister with sadness and guilt in her eyes as she watched her curled up on her bed. She let out a small sigh before walking over to Stacy’s bed and sitting down next to her. Macy waited for Stacy to turn around to face her and when she did, she pulled her into a side hug. She let her lay her head on her shoulder. She didn’t mind that she didn’t want to talk right now as she got where she was coming from. So it came as a surprise when Stacy decided to speak up.

“I didn’t mean to fall in love with her, Macy. I promise you I didn’t. I didn’t realise that I liked her until the day she took me to the mall and spoiled me rotten. I promise you I didn’t want anything to happen between us and I was going to tell you that I liked her but I was scared to tell you.” Stacy said out of nowhere and full of emotion.

“It’s not your fault Stacy. I was the one that told her to cheer you up that day. It’s not everyday you have to keep your younger sister distracted while you sort her ex-boyfriend out.” Macy said as she hugged Stacy closer to her.

“What do you mean by that?” Stacy asked as she looked up at her sister.

“I decided to pay your ex-boyfriend a visit while Becky took you to the mall.” Macy told her innocently.

“What kind of visit was it?” Stacy asked as she began to wonder what her older sister did to her ex-boyfriend.

“A visit where I paid a visit to him and a few minutes later, he paid a visit to the nearest hospital.” Macy told her with a smile.

Stacy couldn’t help but smile at what her sister had done for her. Her sister beat up her sorry excuse of an ex-boyfriend after he broke her heart. She found it ironic how everything has turned out for them both after that day-

“I’m going to break up with her.” Stacy’s thoughts were interrupted by Macy’s revelation.

“Why?” Stacy asked her sister as she looked back down at her mattress.

“I’m breaking up with her because she cheated on me and then the next day told me after she promised you she would never tell me.” Macy told her like it was the most normal thing ever.

“When are you gonna do it?” Stacy asked as she looked back up at her sister.

“Sometime tomorrow while we’re staying home and she is back home.” Macy told her as she looked down at her younger sister.

Macy looked at the clock on the bedside table and said, “Anyway, it’s time that you go to sleep.”

“Promise me you will be here when I wake up in the morning.” Stacy said as she wrapped her arms around her sister and closed her eyes.

“I promise.” Macy whispered before she placed a kiss on Stacy’s head before closing her eyes too.

Within a few minutes, both sisters fell asleep in each other's arms ready for the day tomorrow.
