Around Every Corner P. 1

A/N Hello everyone and welcome back to another chapter of Walkers World: A Boys Stand (Telltales the Walking Dead Edition)! I hope you all haven't been waiting for too long on this chapter to come out! I know you all are kind of disappointed that Izuku managed to get a superpower in this world. But to represent how much power he has compared to the others I needed to do this, so I hope you all forgive me for this. I also really like Dragon Izuku fanfics.

Izuku placed a hand over his mouth as he felt sick to his stomach. The fact that the dog was buried in the backyard of all places, and that they had to dig it out. It didn't sit right with him, especially with the fact that Clementine had to see this kind of thing. The world clearly showed them that it was not as safe and sound as it appeared to be, albeit with some very overpowered undead.

As Lee pulled on the collar of the dead animal, the head came off from the shoulders causing Christa to continue heaving in the corner. As Lee looked down at the completely desecrated body of the animal, he kneeled down enough to where the smell wouldn't hurt him as he apologized to the person who buried their pet. 

He turned away after that putting the shovel in a different spot. It's usage completed for now until a later moment it's needed in the future. Izuku followed Lee and Clementine was not far behind him as they stood near the door when Lee placed the collar close to the doggy-door. They heard the sounds of locks becoming unhinged and a green light appearing on the light sigil as everyone silently cheered.

Now presented a new issue, no one aside from Clementine was small enough to feasibly fit through the small door. And as Lee was trying to figure out a way to unlock the door without the use of Clementine and endangering her to whoever and whatever was inside the little girl rushed into the situation. 

"Clementine!" Lee called out, worried.

"Clementine are you alright!?" Izuku called out, looking just as worried.

They heard the sounds of a locking mechanism undoing itself as the door swung open revealing the young girl with a smile on her face as she looked to Lee. Raising her arms in the air with her smile she spoke out loud to the man like a normal child would.

"Tadaa!" She called out, as Lee chuckled.

"Good job Clementine, you managed to get us a way inside. But please when you decide to do this again, make sure to let one of us know." Lee said, gently chastising her action whilst giving her praise.

"Okay Lee!" The little girl said, before rushing inside.

"Is that door open? We should get inside then." Christa said, as everyone entered the building.

Walking through the door, they entered a kitchenette that had a small island in the middle of the room. The cabinets looked as though something or someone ransacked the place in a hurry, not only that, but when checking the cabinets for supplies they only found dog food. They moved through the building before arriving at the living room as they stood around.

"We should probably make sure that this place is secure. We will need to get back on the road again to find us a boat." Kenny said, as everyone nodded.

"Kenny, you and Ben check upstairs. I will be down here with Christa, Omid and Clementine. Izuku, think you can look around the backyard for other supplies?" Lee ordered, before asking Izuku.

"Sure thing Lee, I'll see what I can find." Izuku said, with a mock salute.

Whilst being outside, Izuku had felt as though he'd been out there for a long while. It didn't feel as time passed faster than what he was doing, but he felt as though it was nice to get some air that wasn't being through quick and quiet gasps. Running from walkers would do that to just about anyone, especially a giant herd of them. Izuku thought back to the plan he'd made with Lee before he met Kenny and his family, and how he'd decided to stick around to protect Clem.
