A/N Hello everyone and welcome back to another chapter of Telltales The Walking Dead Walkers World: A Boy's Stand! I hope you all have enjoyed the story thus far and can't wait until we reach Episode 4 and 5 because that is where things will become quite juicy! For this chapter, we will be going through the events of the last few things that happen in Episode 3 until the fourth episode begins in earnest. Without further ado, let's begin!
Izuku got off the train and ran over to Lee as he looked out into the forest as he found Izuku rushing over to him. Izuku stopped in front of Lee as the man shook his head at Izuku as if to tell him not to come any closer. Stopping just enough to where Clementine wouldn't leave the train, Izuku looked at the back of the train and spoke to Lee.
"We don't know how many walkers were in the vicinity that could've heard that gunshot. Whatever happened out there, make sure to put Duck down before anything bad happens." Izuku said, as Lee nodded.
"Since when were you the leader?" Lee quipped.
"Since all the adults became useless to Clementine's safety." Izuku quipped back.
"When did you learn to sass me?" He asked, before turning around.
"Huh, when did I learn to sass people?" Izuku mumbled to himself as he climbed on top of the Train.
As Izuku climbed on top of the Train he kept watch over everything. He didn't need to know what happened since he'd heard Kenny scream no out in the wilderness. Something happened with Katjaa and Duck that caused the gunshot to happen and he was not even going to question anything since the man will no doubt be mourning the loss of his son.
BANG!
Izuku flinched at the second gunshot as he became way more worried as he found Lee and Kenny slowly coming out from the brush nearby. And as he waited for Katjaa to come out with the two men, he waited a bit before realizing that the woman wasn't coming. Looking to Lee the man shook his head at him before Izuku realized the situation, Katjaa had killed herself before they had to put Duck down and end his misery.
After that moment, Izuku really didn't know how to feel about that. Having to watch as you lose your entire family in front of your eyes, that's not going to do anything good for someone's mind. Especially someone who is as blunt and trigger happy as Kenny himself is, not that the man had ever placed him in danger in the past. Izuku trusted the man far more than he showed that he should be trusted... but Izuku knew the man thought about his family first.
He climbed back down and into the train car as he talked with Clementine about what her home life was like. And to hear that the little girl had friends around her neighborhood back almost a year back was nice to hear.
"Did you have any friends wherever you came from?" Clementine asked, curiously.
"W-Why are you asking me t-that?" Izuku asked, as Clementine tilted her head with confusion writ on her features.
"W-Well you asked me if I h-had any friends. I want to know if someone as nice as you had friends." Clementine asked, as Izuku felt his heart break slightly.
"T-To tell you the truth, Clementine. When I was a little younger than you, I had a couple friends." Izuku said, looking out to the forest.
"Really? Who were they?" Clementine asked, as she looked at him with awe.
"I-I mean, I wouldn't c-call them friends per say. More like acquaintances." Izuku said, wincing.
