Walkers World: A Boys Stand (Telltale The Walking Dead)

A/N Hello everyone and welcome back to another chapter of Walkers World: A Boys Stand (Telltales The Walking Dead)! I hope you all enjoyed the Finale of Season 1 yesterday. It was a long time coming and that was within 18 parts that were without an author note in between! I hope you all have been having a great week so far and I can certainly hope that your days get far better than before. Without further ado, let's begin the Interim Chapter!

Izuku and Clementine walked through a broken-down town. The two were searching for supplies together as Christa was showing signs of being pregnant. The woman had been showing small signs that she was pregnant for a small while now, and thankfully Omid hadn't been able to see it himself.

How the man could be a hopeless comic, and not be smart enough to see his woman was pregnant... Izuku would never know. But he was being sent out here with Clementine in order to find some supplies for Christa as she was craving certain foods. This also gave Izuku the time to talk to Clementine who had gone mute since Lee had to be killed by her hand.

"Clementine, please talk to me. It's been a couple months since Lee has died, and I know it's a sore subject to talk about. But you can't keep holding your emotions in, it isn't healthy." Izuku said, with a very concerned expression.

"How did he get bit?" She questioned, as she stared ahead.

"What do you mean?" Izuku asked, looking at her confused.

"How did he get bit? I wanna know." Clementine asked, this time a bit more solemn in her wording.

"He was searching outside the fenced yard of the house we were at. He found the walkie talkie that you had asked for him to fix on the ground in front of some trash from what he told me. But as soon as he tried to grab the walkie talkie... a walker appeared out of nowhere and bit him on the wrist. He didn't take note of it until he saw the blood on your hat." Izuku said, with a solemn expression.

The two remained quiet for now, Clementine coming to terms with what Izuku had informed her, and Izuku searching for some food. Neither said a word before Clementine hugged Izuku from behind as tears fell from her eyes before she spoke again in a far sadder tone.

"I'm sorry for getting him bitten. If I hadn't listened to that man, Lee would still be with us." Clementine said, feeling extremely guilty.

"Don't apologize Clementine. That was just a mistake on your part, and your just a kid, you're meant to make mistakes. But when it comes to the Stranger, he manipulated you into losing trust in Lee. So if anything... blame the Stranger for Lee getting bitten, alright?" Izuku asked, holing the girl into his arms.

"I shouldn't have left the house that day, I-if I hadn't, then Lee would be with us today." Clementine sobbed in his arms.

Looking for a spot to rest for a moment, Izuku brought both himself and Clementine to higher ground. Sitting on the rafters of the building they were inside of, Izuku pulled Clementine into his side as the two looked over the shop. Clementine's sobbing being the only small amount of noise that came from the building itself as Izuku rubbed the girls back softly.

The two returned back to the campsite where Omid and Christa were staying at. They had been keeping an eye out for walkers as the two were focused on making as little noise as possible. Izuku, however, was focusing his time on making sure that Clementine didn't need to cry again anytime soon. He knew she was still bottling up some of her emotions, but they were in a smaller amount this time compared to earlier.
