As I opened my front door to head to my bus stop, I instantly tripped on something on my front porch and fell. On my face. Of course. Standing up and looking around me, I noticed that strangely, nothing was there. So I just left, finally heading to my stop. My phone started playing 'Ho Hey' by The Lumineers, telling me that the phone in my house was calling me.
"Hello?"
"Um, Hayley?"
"Mom? What's wrong?"
"I-I think someone's broken in, I was just calling to check where you were, are you at the bus stop?"
"I'm on my way there..."
"OHMYGOD!!! Come home this second, I'll take you to school later!"
The line disconnected.
