Chapter 7

(A/N): Okay guys, I'm gonna be on crutches until further notice :/ but since I can't do anything, that means I have more time to update the story! :D YAAY!! But also, I have a school project that's kinda huge, and my part requires my computer, so... yeah. I hope you enjoy this next chapter, though! -Katie <3

Hayley's POV

I wake up when the van stops, and I find my head in Niall's shoulder, my hand in his. He says nothing as I remove myself from the car, him following me. We follow Harry into a building that looks like it's been deserted for ages.

"Watch her, I'll go in, make sure it's clear before she has to go in, we can't afford to lose her." says Harry.

"Fine, whatever." Niall replied. Had something happened while I was asleep? Or was he still annoyed from Harry making fun of the whole Agent Niall thing?

"Hayley, get in the van."

"W-What?" Harry was inside, and at the moment it was just me and Niall standing outside the deserted building.

"Just get in the van."

"Ok..."

I got in the van, realizing as Niall got in that only a complete idiot would do what I just did, but for some reason, I trusted Niall. He got in the van, turning on the ignition with keys I didn't know he had in his posession. He started driving, not even glancing in my direction, not even talking to me. So I decided to speak, just to break the silence.

"Where are we going?"

"My flat."

"Why?"

He didn't answer.

We pulled up to an apartment complex, Niall parking the van. He opened my door and helped me down. We started walking around.

"Why do we have to walk so far?"

"Because they still don't know which flat is mine, nor that all of those units are empty, no one wants them."

"Ah. Smart."

We walked into one of the buildings, up its steps and into an apartment after Niall unlocked the door.

"Go on in."

I walked in and heard the door close behind me.

"Nice place."

"Thanks."

I turned to Niall.

"Why did you bring me here?"

"To do this."

He leant into me, kissing me. I kissed him back, not wanting him to stop. I put my arms around his neck, and I felt him hesitantly put his hands in my hips, pulling me closer. Regrettably, I pulled back for air.

"Hayley." Niall breathed.

"Mmm?"

"C-Could I take you out? T-Tonight?"

"Of course." I smiled.

I took my brown hair out of its ponytail, letting fall in waves down my back, then put my hands back around his neck. Yet again we kissed, this time more passionate, more urgent. When we finally pulled apart, I said, "Or we could always stay in," winking.

Niall's eyes widened as he processed my words.

HARRY'S POV

I walked back outside, only to find the van gone. Of course! Dammit Niall! I TOLD Louis he shouldn't be on this operation! He's too close to the girl! I searched my pockets for my phone before remembering I had left it in the van. So I started walking back to the old house where Louis told me to go after we were finished here, I'm sure he's there already, and I had already somewhat searched the place before coming back out, not finding anything. I heard thunder just as it started raining, soaking me in a matter of minutes.

I'm soo gonna KILL Niall for this.

NIALL'S POV

All afternoon, since it was raining,we had stayed at my flat and just talked. We talked about everything; our lives, our schools, just...everything. I would listen to her beautiful voice and watch her face- which I'm convinced is that of an angel- and then I would say something, her wide eyes watching, her pierced ears listening, as I told stories, which the majority of made her musical laugh ring through my flat, not even keeping track of the time.

Then she kissed me. For the second time that day, the mist beautiful girl in the universe kissed me. I kissed her back, pulling her in closer to me by her hips, as she wrapped her arms around my neck.

"Niall?" she whispered when we finally pulled apart.

"Yes, love?"

"Remember what I said earlier, about staying in tonight?"

"Yeah."

"I wasn't kidding."

My eyes widened. I had never known her to be so confident ever before, especially when we were younger, maybe in kindergarten, before I had to move back to Ireland. I remember her running off and hiding when anyone except I and another friend ever spoke to her. But she's completely changed.

And I really like it.
