Chapter 15

I walked into my house, pausing only for a moment to make sure everything was in its place. I quickly walked upstairs, Niall- my rescuer, my angel, my love- close behind me. "What will happen when all of this is over?" I thought to myself. I had indeed been accepted into Ohio State and was planning on majoring in music, I really wanted to be a music teacher. But that meant moving to Ohio, and Niall doesn't quite know yet. It hasn't exactly come up in conversation yet.

I walk into my room, grabbing my large zebra print suitcase from the closet. Quickly I put all my clothes, makeup, and other necessitites (including my iPod, phone, chargers, my laptop, and a few stuffed animals). When everything was all packed up, I zipped up my baggage and took one last look at the room I have practically lived in, mostly on my laptop fangirling about fictional characters, for the past 14 years, and I had no clue when I would be back. I walked across the room, suddenly remembering something- a picture of my family, before my dad left. I then left the room, tears streaming silently down my face. I walked out of the house and into Niall's VW Beetle. I put my things in the trunk and got in the passenger seat, buckling the belt. At this point I couldn't see due to my tears. I felt arms wrap around my shoulders, a pair of lips on my cheek.

"Hey, everything's gonna be alright. You're moving in with me, I'll never let anyone else take you away again. I promise."

"Niall. I-I...... I'm going to Ohio State. I didn't know how to tell you, but... but now..... Niall, I can't stand the thought of losing you. And on the whole 'not letting anyone take me away' thing, YOU were the one who took me to that house. YOU were the one who GAVE ME UP."

"Only because if I didn't, he would kill you. And I would never be able to live with the fact that I could've saved my princess. That I was the reason were lying on the ground, DEAD. Hayley, if I could.go back and kill him, Ibswear to you I would. I would keep him from taking away the best thing that's ever happened to me. I swear on my I won't let them come near you ever again."

It was the most beautiful thing I had ever heard him say. I kissed him, unable to stop myself. I instantly wrapped my arms around his neck,him wrapping his around my waist as he unbuckled the belt. We stayed that way until we regrettably had to draw back for air.

It was then that I realized how much I loved him. I knew I loved him, but it wasn't until then that o realized how deeply I felt for him. How willing I was to fight for him, to make all the pain he had ever felt go away, even though I knew I couldn't. Niall spoke, bringing me back from my thoughts.

"We really need to leave."

We did leave, and in record time; I had a feeling Niall wanted to carry on our moment from earlier. But when I looked up at him, he was angry.

"Niall? Whats-"

"They have a phone."

"Niall, I-"

"They could have anyone, Hayley."

"I-"

"Damn it, Hayley. They called your father. That's the only reason GE knew where you were. Without them, you still wouldn't even know what the hell was going on."

"Niall,-"

"Damn it, Hayley! I-"

"NIALL! I disconnected it! The first night I was there! While they were asleep, I disconnected it! They didn't even have the chance to. all anyone, I made sure of it!

"Are you sure?"

"Yes! Very sure!"

There was a bang, and everything went black.
