Kylan's POV
"So, Jason has some news he would like to share with you all." I announced as we all sat down at our designated table at the canteen during lunch-break.
Last night was surprisingly fun. Apart from the few times I found Jason absolutely irresistable. Which was most of the time. But I am a man of much self-control. So despite all that, we managed to play several rounds of his favourite video game. Safe to say, it's my favourite now too. Then he introduced me to this show called Modern Family and we watched a few episodes of that. That is Jason's favourite TV show; so needless to say, it's my favourite now too.
Oh! Don't judge me! Yes, my personality revolves around Jason now, and no, I'm not too proud of it.
"So... I cannot believe I'm actually saying this, but... I'm dating Autumn." Jason revealed squealing with excitement. I tried to look happy for him and gave him a pat on the back. Elijah and Cole however looked... surprised. And not in a good way. Now that wasn't the reaction we were expecting!
"Guys?" I asked trying to fill in the awkward silence.
"I am sooo happy for you." Cole said and gave Jason a side-hug. That's the fakest I've ever seen him be. But Jason didn't pick up on it.
"You know what, you should treat us to some good food to celebrate it." Elijah said after he gained back his composure. "And tell us all about it. We wanna know the story."
"I'm gonna go get our food." I said and motioned for Cole to follow me. I had a hunch about what the hell was up with that reaction. I just needed him to confirm it.
I nudged Cole and he followed along with me. "What?" He asked annoyed, once we were at a safe distance. "I wanted to hear the story of how it all went down."
"Hey, what was up with that reaction?" I asked him.
"What rection?" He shrugged.
"Oh please." I smacked his arm. "Drop the act. You're too easy to read."
"I don't know what you're talking about bro." He replied trying to sound nonchalant.
"Let me guess. Elijah has a crush on Jason, and you know about that, so this news came as a shocker. And hence the reaction." I said with my with my arms crossed to give off a detective vibe.
"How did you know that?" Cole asked looking like he's seen ghost. So Jasmine was right afterall. Looks like the J-sisters aren't as crazy as I thought. They might actually be able to help me out. Interesting...
"Well, it's obvious." I replied.
"Eli would be heartbroken, you know." He said looking worried. This one is always worried about Elijah. He's way too protective of him too.
"Don't be dramatic. He'll be fine. It's just a silly crush." I said.
"You know how he gets too attached." He whined.

Elija's POV
"So what now?" Cole asked as we walked out of the cafeteria towards our next class.
"About what?" I questioned confused.
"About the Jason situation, what else?" He explained.
"What about it?" I pretended to not understand. And kept walking.
"Wait, hold up." He said as he stood in front of me to stop me. "You just found out that your crush is already dating someone, and you don't have anything to say about that?"
