You must be wondering. “Why are you stealing? Where is the shopkeeper? Where is everyone?!”
Well I will tell you because the walk back is very long and boring.
Back then the world was simple and everyone slept, worked, ate and then slept some more before he came and did it. He was a scientist who made what some people would call “Sleeping Death”. He was trying to do something with fear and childhood.
Some people think he was trying to take the fear out of traumatized kids\adults but others think the opposite, He tried to put fear into traumatized kids\adults.
No one knows though, because he disappeared late that night, when he made it and tested it he was gone.
The drug got out and it got in people's breath stream.
The victim(s) fell asleep and no one knows what happens after that because they never woke up.
Only one did and they went insane after that. The guy keeps screaming “THEY'RE HERE! THEY'RE COMING FOR ME! HIDE” Everyone was afraid after that.
Not only was everyone sleepy but were super hungry for The Miracle
The Miracle is a medicine that wakes you up for 2-3 days then you crash…..hard, like candy. I think it's best if you don't live through it.
I studied the shops in search of some of this candy pill to give out to some of the older people but with no luck. It might be the time. The Miracle has finally disappeared. They stopped making it?
The people who are/were still working, stashed The Miracle up somewhere so people can get it.
Now it's gone and we might have to face the facts. We can't stay awake forever. This thought haunts me so I shake my head and Luke cocked his head.
“You ok?“
I nodded and hurried away.
We stopped by a large house made of wood and stone. The paint was peeling and looked abandoned and cursed. We made our way inside.
