Hey darlings.
This week has been heck! An acquaintance of mine lost her mother the other day and it was absolutely heart breaking. She was holding up so well.
I met her in the bathrooms fixing her appearance as if nothing hapoened. As if she wasn't just bawling in the office. Like... If you can hold up so well you're blessed.
(And let me tell you, a girl that knew her mother was sobbing LOUDER and HARDER than she was. She even had the audacity to be consoling her, telling her it was okay when I feel like it should have been the other way around.)
Apparently she lost her father a couple years prior and now she's basically fending for herself with her older siblings.
Our school is asking for contributions from other parents to help her which I think is great but people forget. People 'move on'. What if they forget about her?
I may be a pessimistic person but these are real things in life and I'm genuinely concerned.
Have you ever lost someone close? Let me know.
What was your experience so that I can get advice as to how to go about her. I don't want her to feel as though I'm walking on pins and needles around her.Too many people are doing this.
