ᴀsʜʟʏɴ ᴘᴏsᴛᴘᴏɴᴇᴅ sᴀᴠᴀɴɴᴀʜ's ᴛᴀʟᴋ sᴏ ʟᴏɢᴀɴ ᴄᴏᴜʟᴅ ʀᴇsᴛ.

Tyler wasn't very fond of her idea, not like he ever is. He tapped the phantom's leg with his bat as if confirming its death.

All of them stared at the creature, expecting it to move but nothing happened. Y/N sighed relieved and she sat on the seat next to where the phantom was.

"So... What do we do?" Tyler asked.

Ashlyn looked down thoughtfully, "Good question..."

"Maybe we could experiment with it?" Taylor suggested. "See what is most effective in dealing damage to the body."

Y/N beamed at Taylor's suggestion, "That's actually not a bad idea."

"And since it's dead," Aiden continued Y/N's sentence while taking out his phone, "Let's take a closer look!"

Aiden turned on his phone's lantern and pointed it at the phantom. As soon as the light hit the phantom's body, the dead creature began to decompose strangely, forming some sort of strange bubbles as if it were being boiled.

They, except Aiden, watched in horror as the phantom started to melt.

"Turn it off!" Tyler yelled.

Aiden laughed nervously. "Okay, okay!" He said turning off the lantern.

The six of them studied the now melted body for some time, all of them coming up with probable but not-so-very-believable theories for Y/N to write down.

Logan woke up shortly after. None of his friends noticed him opening his eyes and sitting up as he adjusted his eyes to the bus's light.

Y/N was still writing down something Taylor was telling her while trying to keep Aiden away from her notebook when Logan approached them.

"What...?"

Taylor was the first to notice him and smiled. "Oh, you're up. Are you feeling better?"

Y/N turned to see Logan standing there with a confused expression and immediately looked up to see Aiden reading the notebook he just snatched from her hands.

"...Not really..." Logan answered and trailed off when his eyes landed on the monster's melted body. "What happened to it?!"

"Aiden melted it..." Y/N said as she tried to get her notebook back.
