Courtney was wandering around Germany, she doesn't even need a map after all she knows where she is going for the night. A place where she felt safe with R.E, after all it is soon Christmas so why not spend it in the church? The walk isn't that long, but it sure does feel long, the cold breeze brushing against her is the worst, the snow falling down hard. Courtney finally made it to the open church, as usual no one was there.
(Courtney's POV)
Abandon, but everything seems to be where they should be last time I saw it. Say are the ghost children still there? I yelled out for the two as my voice echoed, creepy~.
"Welp this will be my bed tonight...Merry Christmas..." I lay down on one of the long benches I took out a sleeping bag and crawled in with Choco cozy fur pressed against me.
The wind was blowing hard outside and I couldn't sleep, so I put on some music. I put my earpods in and listen to the soft music. The song is sad, but to me its really calming. My eyes were heavy and I felt myself relaxing and falling to bed.
(West's POV)
I am home, but why am I not happy? I should be happy to be home, waiting for my father to come home to meet me and my brother, Italy is staying over for a sleepover, so why am I frowning? We were all sitting around the couch, usually there is supposed to be a big tree and our family usually decorated it. Me and East are the ones finishing the tree with the star and grandpa and Prussia would bake cookies for us. Father wasn't there, but he was there to watch us play and Weimar would watch us carefully. Those were fun days. A door knob caught my attention as I heard someone talking on the other side, I told East and Italy to hide and turn off the lights, they might be America, France or Britain. We all hid behind the couch, the doors was opened, I looked out to see my father coming in with uncle Weimar.
Grandfather and great grandfather were there too! When my family was home, East immediately ran to dad at the fastest speed I have ever seen him run, tackling him with a hug.
"EAST?" Father shouted "Wie geht es dir hier?!"
"Courtney hat uns zurückgebracht!" East was spilling everything, he told them about the adventure we had with her. "Italien ist auch bei uns!"
Italy revealed himself and bowed down to my father, I also showed myself and for the first time in my life I saw a tear out of his eyes. But soon he wiped it away, East went around and gave everyone a hug.
"Son, I can't believe you are finally back!" He pulled me into a hug "This is the best Christmas god has ever given me."
I wrapped my arms around him, it's been a long time since I hugged him, it felt nice. We spent the night together and even though it was late we still put up the christmas tree and grandpa made cookies. Italy was having fun and when it's time to sleep, my father told us a story and kissed us good night.
"Son when Courtney brought you back, did you know where she went?" He asked
"Nein, Vater, I don't know, she only left because she fears you will return her to her own world." I said sleepily "Are you going to force her to leave?"
Papa just stayed silent and then told me not to worry about it. I was getting very sleepy so I didn't get to think about what he said and went to bed. Courtney, I hope to see you again.

Third was very happy to get his sons back, but the thought of Courtney leaving him because she was scared of him didn't make Third feel good. So now he is going to search for her, she can't be far right? Third called his general who is still up and told him to send a search team through Germany and find a missing person. He gave his general a description and ended the call, putting on his winter coat getting ready to go out.
"Was machst du, mein Sohn??" Third whipped around and saw his father the German Empire.
"Auf der Suche nach ihr." Third sighed "Sie kann nicht weit sein."
"Du musst sie gehen lassen, wenn sie hier sein will, lass sie." G.E. said "Sie sucht etwas oder jemanden."
Third eyes the empire. "Und jetzt denkst du darüber nach, sie in der Zeitlinie eines Krieges bleiben zu lassen, wage nicht zu glauben, ich hätte vergessen, dass du sie auch fast getötet hättest."
(And now you're thinking about letting her stay in the timeline of a war, don't you dare think I forgot that you almost killed her too.)
"Das war dein Großvater... und ich schätze ich, aber ich wusste nicht, was in ihr vorging." G.E. defended. "I am not saying it wasn't my fault."
(That was your grandfather... and I guess I did, but I didn't know what was going on with her)
"You're right, it is your fault." Third snapped, "I am heading out, you can stay or help, I don't care."
The door then shut, leaving G.E in the living room.
