Transformers ONE (2024 Movie)

The miners were all recharging. All except Orion, of course. 

"Pst! Hey, D!", Orion whispered, trying to get D-16 attention. But D-16 was recharging. Orion tapped on his helm twice. Nothing happened. Orion tapped his helm three times this time. D-16 woke up and opened his optics. "Oh, good, you're up. Come on, I have an idea"

"Whatever this is, it better be good", D-16 said as they went to the roof. 

"Yea, yea, yea. Ok, listen. What if, what if, what if, tomorrow, we ran in the Iacon 5000?", Orion asked as he gestured at the Iacon 5000 hologram. "Huh?"

"What if I kill you for waking me up?", D-16 asked as he started walking away.

"No, hear me out", Orion said. D-16 stopped and looked at him. "We don't even have to win"

"No, that's good because we wouldn't", D-16 said as he started walking again.

"But if we beat just one Transformer, it proves we're just as good as they are", Orion said as he gave D-16 a playful punch on his shoulder. "Not only would we go down in history 'The mining bots that did the impossible',  we would show everyone we're capable of so much more!"

"Or we'll get publicly humiliated and embusted back to tier one", D-16 said as he started walking once again.

"Yea but at least we would have done something, you know?", Orion said as he grabbed D-16 from the shoulders.

"Pax"

"Come on, D-"

"Pax", D-16 cut him. "We're mining bots, we can't transform. We can't fly. We can't roll. We can't race. Come on, let's go"

Orion sighed and D-16 walked away. "Alright, fine", Orion whispered. He turned to the hologram of Iacon 5000. "Yea, maybe you're right", he said. "Maybe"

"The Iacon 5000 is finally here!", D-16 said. A huge crowd of bots made their way to the race, excited for the great event. 

"I have a surprise for you. Come on", Orion said as he separated from the crowd.

"Where are you going? The stadium's that way", D-16 said as he followed Orion and pointed in the direction the bots were going.

"Yea, yea, I know. Follow me", Orion said. 

"Great. We're gonna be late now", D-16 said. "I want good seats. We came all this way to miss the opening ceremony. This one rush me"

"I know what I'm doing", Orion told him. "Hold up!", he said as he held to a bar on the wall. D-16 did the same. An orange blast through the tunnel made them fly slightly. Then, they were back on the ground. "Get caught in one of those and it'll launch you half way across the city"

"Ok, where are you taking me?", D-16 asked as he followed Orion. The blast was turning on again. D-16 ran to the other side of the tunnel before the blast was released. 

"Don't be a glitch. This will totally be worth it. Trust me", Orion said as he climbed up the ladder. 

"Hey, you don't be a glitch", D-16 said. "I know it is like fun for you. Like, you're around but if you make me miss any part of the Iacon 5000, I swear I will smelt your face like..."

D-16 became speechless of the view. 

"Welcome to Iacon 5000! There they are. Put your hands together as today's competitors are taking the field"

The crowd cheered as the racers went to their spots, warming up for the big race.

"Look, there's Thunderglide and Behemoth. This is unbelievable! I feel like I'm in the race!", D-16 said. He then looked at Orion. "You did this...for me?"
