Have you ever thought what would come after death? Would it be Hell/Heaven, Purgatory, perhaps a new world or reincarnation, or just plain nothingness?
So far, no scientific evidence proved the existences of those, except the most logical one, nothingness.
Something worse, not even the pain of dying or burning in hell.
As if you never existed in the first place.
You were never born, everything that was built, belonged to you followed vanishing.
There was no reminder that you existed, there was no sign you ever existed, because you never were in the first place.
The thought terrified me..
They said The Void was a place in the space which had no stars, no galaxies to fill the space, so they called it The Void.
I thought different.
Who knows. After all, The Void didn't exist in the first place, perhaps it did exist.
Hm, again, who knows?
Everything would be explained, everything would make sense in due time.
Time controls all.

Returning to our protagonists, the scene faded to the demon and the spirit maintaining eye contact.

Their tense atmosphere was cut by Denny's scream.
"HUH!? DENNY!" Alex blitzed to the village, searching for Denny.
"DENNY! WHERE ARE YOU?!" Alex looked around before grabbing a random adult by the collar.
"WHERE IS MY CHILD?!"
"I- WHO-"
Alex threw the adult away.
The demon entered the village as he flew above it, looking for her.
"God, what is it now. And why the hell this village is so damn big?!"
Alex kept on hovering around, his panic increased as he didn't heard anything else from Denny.
His eyes caught something, immediately halting himself, he saw Denny crossing her arms, pouting.
"Uhh.."
The kids had an apologetic faces, Alex pupil slid down and noticed an.. ice cream on the ground.
Oh.
"Denny... Please next time don't scream on top of your lungs.. I literally could hear you outside of the village.."
Andrew landed down next to Alex, he had the same expression as the spirit.
"But my ice cream! Them! Waaa!!"
"I'll buy more next time, how does that sound?"
"OwO"
Alex smiled and could only shook his head, Andrew glared at the kids which enough to made them ran away frightened.
"Well, I think it's not really a good idea if we stayed in this village longer."
"Well, do you have any destination in mind?"
Alex pondered a bit before shrugging.
"Right."
The three stood there like statues, thinking of somewhere to go. They HAD to go, considering they got a whole army and strong ass demons chasing their tails.
The three decided to just keep walking until they find a place, safe enough to live in temporarily without any disruption.
After they bid their adieu to the villagers, the protagonists embarked on their journey.
