Chapter 39

"Emily Fields, Spencer Hastings, Hanna Marian, Macy Marshall, and Aria Montgomery please report to the principal office." Was announced over the loud speaker.

I got out of my seat and walked out of the classroom. I didn't even look at the teacher, let alone get the hall pass I'm supposed to have. I just couldn't take the "oh, your in trouble"s anymore.

All five of us met up outside the principals office. Just waiting to hear what we did this time.

"Guys do you have any idea why we're here?" Hanna broke the silence between us.

"I don't think we did anything to get us in trouble with the school." I said. We've done things to piss of Tanner, but no one at the school.

"Tanner could be taking a field trip and visiting us at school." Spencer said, before she received a text. "Actually it is Tanner. Toby just texted me. She's here."

"Then what are we getting arrested for this time?" I asked as the door opened to the principals office.

"We're ready to see you now." Tanner said opening the door, welcoming us inside.

"We. I thought Tanner and Holbrook were doing their own thing for a little bit." Spencer said under her breath.

Inside the room was Mona. She's alive. How could she be alive? There was to much blood. She had to be murdered. I guess that explains why they didn't find her body after all this time.

I wonder what'll happen to me and Mike.

"Hi guys, did you miss me?" Mona asked braking us out of our amazed trances.

"Ya, but how is this possible. There was too much blood. I saw it. There was no way you could have survived it. There's just no way." Aria started freaking out. I couldn't tell if it was the good freaking out or the bad.

"A planned it. A wanted me gone, but I guess the games changed." Mona surprised us all. No one told Tanner about A.

"What do you mean the game changed? How did the game change Mona?" Emily started freaking out.

"Ali's back. Macy's back and she spilled a lot of what A had on us. Also that you guys almost told the police about A. You broke many of A's rules. A is pissed and A wants the world to know that I faked my death. A wants me out in the real world again."

"So this is basically my fault." Just great. I declared world war A.

"So what do we do now?" Hanna asked.

"That's were I come in. You guys have to be under police surveillance twenty-four seven. We can not let you out of our site. You are in great danger at the moment and it is our job to keep you safe." I think I'm starting to like Detective Tanner.

"Alright, can we get back to class now? I was in the middle of a test." Emily asked.

"Yes, you can leave. Just be careful." With that we all started to head out the door.

"I'm really glad you're back Mona." I hope her being back won't effect me and Mike.
