CHAPTER 7. GRATITUDE AND CONNECTION

After the successful meeting with vayu noor wanted to thank vivan for introducing them.
“but how?” noor wondered “ I don’t have his contact”
She recalled kavya’s familiarity with vivan. “ may be kavya has his number”
The next day noor approaches kavya in the office. Noor hoped for a positive response.
“kavya do you have vivan’s contact ? I wanted to thank him”
Kavya’s expression turned cold
“ no I don’t know him well enough”
Noor eyes narrowed. “ but I saw you with him…”
Kavya shrugged “ I don’t have his number”
Noor felt puzzled. “ why is kavya being so secretive?”
Noor asked kavya “ why you are so rude?”
“Ahhh! Nothing its just I have to leave , I m in hurry”said kavya hurriedly moving towards the main road.
Noor companied her on the way towards road asking her about her day in order to make a friendly environment. But kavya just answered not interested.
Soon the motorcycle came towards them and the boy waved kavya to hop in the bike.
“where is the helmet , dakshay?”
“ohh I forgot it in hurry ,  don’t worry ill manage”
And he exchanged smile with noor.
As they left noor admired the couple.
And she said to herself “ may be kavya is an introvert and she wants to live her own life…”
And she left for her dance classes.
Next day fate intervened
Noor saw vivan near her office in the same café she entered there and he was sipping his coffee. “ vivan” noor exclaimed. “ hey what brings you here”vivan smiled.
“ your introduction to vayu was a lifesaver” noor thanked vivan profusely.
Vivan chuckled “ glad it worked out”
Noor explained her failed attempt to contact him.
Vivan laughed “ I m sorry here take my number”
He scribbled his number on a napkin . noors eyes sparkled “ thanks vivan”
As noor took vivan’s number their fingers touched. A spark ran through her. “ why did that feel so…. Different?” noor wondered  and she reminded of the dream which she had.

“ lets meet in the event then till then see ya take care” said vivan
Noor nodded and watched vivan going .
Soon akansha came and they were just chit chatting. She noticed noor’s distraction.
“hey whats up ? you have been spaced out”akansha said
Noor hesitated . “its strange I don’t know why am I feeling this way.”
Akansha’s eyes widened “ will you say it clearly”
“I think I have feelings for vivan” noor confessed.
“noor you sure”exclaimed akansha.
Noor told her everything that happened from first meeting with vivan to today....akansha listened attentively.

“I know how vivan helped you . he seems to be kind and genuine.”
“but  does he feel the same way and kavya’s behavior it is suspicious why she lied that he does not know vivan”akansha added.
Noor nodded “ I don’t know akku but I do feel a connection and about kavya I don’t know may be she do not want to share , may be she is an intovert.”
Akansha smiled “I m here for you noorii…”
“be careful but follow your heart” akansha advised
“ finally noor has something interesting in her love life..” akansha teased noor.
“ akku” noor blushed.🫣

Soon all were preparing for the charity gala.. all the invitations were sent … vivan has also joined the NGO .
After two days  vivan , vayu , noor , akansha were discussing  about how to make this event success.

“ open mic which categories should we define for it”
“ poetry” said akansha and vayu together.
“umm I guess vayu and akku have a lot to say through poetry😁” laughed noor.
“It is for you noori not me” akansha whispered.
“ you write as well” vivan asked surprised.
“yess she does and  I love it♥️” excited akansha said
“ but vayu how can a clumsy person like him can write… haaa hhhha😁😂…” akansha mocked vayu
“miss ,you do make judgement really fast , it was not for me, it was for vivan , he was ‘the gulzar’ of our batch” answered vayu
“ oo vivan ...can do it, not you🤣😅 that means I do judge quickly and accurately … I knew you could not write.. hahaha….” Came akansha’s comeback.
“ you can not win over akku she has these roasting skills so nice as if it is in her blood” noor told vayu
“hmhmm… vo to I don’t say much otherwise I would have also…”vayu was about to complete…but was cut off by akansha “you  would have what???”
“ nothing what can I say infront of you🙄” whispered vayu.
“ I did not quite hear you🤨” exclaimed akansha
Vivan and noor were enjoying their fun banter.🤣
And suddenly vayu suggested something that made Noor and vivan go ..... something

Guess??😁 What could have vayu suggested 🤔🤔
