CHAPTER 21. WEB OF LIES

Noor quickly dialed a number, her hands shaking.
"Meet me at Cafe Bliss in an hour. It's urgent," she said, her voice low.
The scene shiftes to Kavya and dakshay on a bike.
Kavya signaled Dakshay to stop the bike.
"What were you talking about to noor?" Kavya asked, her voice firm.
Dakshay shrugged. "Nothing, just asking about you."
Kavya's eyes narrowed. "You sure? Nothing else?"
Dakshay hesitated. "No... I mean, yes. I told her we're together,  for four months now."
Kavya's face turned red with anger. "How could you! I told you to keep it private!"
Dakshay looked puzzled. "Why didn't you want me to tell? Is something wrong?"
Kavya's tone turned defensive. "No, nothing's wrong. It's just too soon."
Dakshay's expression turned suspicious. "Too soon for what?"
Kavya's voice rose. "For everyone to know! You know I didn't want this."
Dakshay's eyes widened. "You're scared of what others will think?"
Kavya's anger boiled over. "You had no right to tell Noor!"
Dakshay's confusion deepened. "Why are you so scared?"
Kavya's words spilled out in a frantic rush. "You don't understand. Noor knows everything."
Dakshay's eyes locked onto Kavya's, filled with suspicion.
Kavya's mind raced, panic setting in.
"Dakshay, if Noor asks again, you must say we're just close friends. Nothing more."
Dakshay nodded, still confused.
Kavya's thoughts swirled:
"What if Noor exposes me? What if Vivan finds out?"
She paced, devising a plan.
"Damage control. That's what I need."
"I have to tell Dakshay to keep quiet, buy time."
"Prepare a excuse kavya think about it, in case Noor confronts me."
"What if Vivan questions me?"
"Stay calm, deny everything."
"But what if Noor has proof?"
Kavya's anxiety spiked.
"No, no, no. This can't happen."
She took a deep breath, focusing just then she saw an unknown number flashing in her phone she picked it up and she was scared as hell .
" I have to talk to Noor, clarify the misunderstanding and make her understand the consequences."
Kavya arrived at Cafe Bliss, spotting Noor already seated.
"Hey, Noor. What's going on?" Kavya asked, being nervous.
Noor's eyes narrowed. "You know exactly why I called you here."
Kavya's expression turned innocent. "I have no idea."
Noor leaned in, her voice low. "Dakshay told me about you two."
Kavya's heart skipped a beat, but she maintained her facade.
"Oh, that? We're just close friends. Dakshay must have misunderstood."
Noor raised an eyebrow. "Misunderstood? He said you've been together for four months."
Kavya forced a laugh. "That's ridiculous. Dakshay's just
joking around."
Noor's gaze intensified. "Kavya, stop lying. I know what I heard."
Kavya's composure began to slip.
"Listen, Noor, even if we were... it's none of your business."
Noor's voice turned cold. "You're risking everything, Kavya. Vivan trusts you."
Kavya's anxiety spiked.
"You won't tell him, will you?" she pleaded.
Noor's expression remained unreadable.
"I haven't decided yet."
Kavya's voice turned manipulative.
"Noor, please don't tell Vivan. This is between Dakshay and me. We'll sort it out."
Noor's eyes widened.
"You're asking me to cover up your infidelity?"
Kavya's smile twisted.
"Vivan trusts me, not you. He'll never believe you."
Noor's face reddened.
"How can you be so sure?"
Kavya's confidence grew.
"Vivan loves me, and I have his trust. You'll never have a chance with him."
Noor's shock deepened.
"How can you say that? You know I'm concerned for Vivan."
Kavya's tone turned venomous.
"Don't pretend innocence, Noor. I know you have feelings for Vivan."
Noor's eyes sparkled with anger.
"How dare you! You're  noone to talk, Kavya."
"I overheard your conversation with Akansha at the cafe."
"You're secretly in love with Vivan. You want to keep Vivan for yourself." 
Noor's voice rose.
"I understand perfectly. You're scared I'll expose you."
Kavya's anger boiled
"Stay out of our lives, Noor. Vivan is mine. He will never ever trust you ,you are nothing to him"
Suddenly the voice came from the next table.
“ what about me kavya? What do you think vivan will believe me or not”.
