The air was thick with tension, the kind that made the world feel eerily quiet, like the moment before a storm unleashes its fury. Jimin's skin prickled with unease, his instincts screaming that something was coming. He glanced at Yoongi, who stood a few paces ahead, his jaw set and eyes scanning the treeline. Yoongi felt it too—danger was near.

Then, like a nightmare brought to life, the first howl cut through the silence, sending a chill down Jimin's spine. Before he could process it, the enemy wolves were upon them, emerging from the shadows like phantoms, their eyes gleaming with malice.

"They're here!" Namjoon's voice boomed, alerting everyone as shadows began to surge from the trees.

They had been expecting this attack, but not so soon, not like this.

"Everyone, prepare yourselves!" Namjoon's voice cut through the night, steady but strained. The pack scrambled into position, the scent of fear thick in the air as they braced for the inevitable storm.

The enemy arrived in a blur—dark shapes tearing through the trees, their snarls echoing in the wind. Claws met fur, teeth tore through flesh. The peaceful sanctuary that Jimin and Yoongi had called home was now a battleground of chaos, blood, and fear.

Jimin fought with everything in him, adrenaline coursing through his veins as he clawed and slashed at the enemy wolves. But the enemy kept coming—wave after wave, overwhelming their defenses. He could feel the tension in the air, sense the tide turning against them. And yet, through it all, his eyes constantly sought Yoongi.

In the frenzy of battle, Yoongi moved like a whirlwind, fierce and unrelenting, his focus on protecting those closest to him. His growls echoed through the night, striking terror into the hearts of the enemy. But just as victory seemed within reach, something changed. A dark figure slipped through the chaos—a shadow wielding a vial filled with a shimmering, poisonous liquid.

Before Yoongi could react, the figure lunged forward, the vial smashing against his flank, releasing a noxious cloud. Yoongi staggered back, a pained snarl escaping his lips as the poison coursed through his veins. His strength faltered, his vision blurred, and the world around him spun wildly.

"Yoongi!" Jimin screamed, but the sound was swallowed by the cacophony of battle. He watched in horror as the poison took hold, his alpha's fierce demeanor wavering.

The enemy wolves seized the opportunity, moving in like vultures circling their prey. Yoongi fought valiantly, swiping at them with powerful blows, but his movements became sluggish, his growls weakened. Jimin felt a rising panic as he realized that even the mighty alpha was not invulnerable.

"No! Get away from him!" Jimin roared, launching himself into the fray, but the chaos engulfed him. Claws clashed, teeth snapped, and amidst the turmoil, he could see Yoongi's ferocity dimming, the once unyielding spirit faltering.

"You'll regret this!" Yoongi bellowed, his voice a guttural growl, but it lacked its usual power. He fought tooth and claw, tearing through the enemy with the strength of a cornered beast, but he was outnumbered and outmaneuvered.

With a final desperate effort, Yoongi charged at the enemy leader, but the poison had weakened him too much. They easily dodged his attack, and before he could react, they struck him down, bringing him to the ground.

The moment felt surreal, Jimin's heart dropping into the pit of his stomach as he witnessed his alpha, his protector, succumb to the overwhelming tide. A sharp gasp escaped Jimin's lips as he saw them seize Yoongi, dragging him backward through the chaos, their laughter mingling with the sounds of the battle.

"No! Stop! Let him go!" Jimin yelled, rage and desperation fueling his every step. He tore through the enemy ranks, fighting fiercely, but they were relentless, closing in on him from all sides.

Yoongi thrashed against his captors, snarling fiercely, his eyes blazing with defiance even as the poison clouded his mind. "You'll pay for this!" he growled, his voice low and dangerous, but it was clear he was struggling against the effects of the poison.

"Keep him quiet," the enemy leader sneered, motioning to the others. "We can't have him rallying the rest of his pathetic pack."

Before Jimin could reach them, a powerful wolf struck him from the side, sending him sprawling to the ground. He looked up just in time to see Yoongi, ferocious and powerful, being dragged away, his body thrashing and snapping, but slowly giving in to the poison.

The enemy laughed, reveling in their triumph, but Jimin's heart was pounding with desperation. "Yoongi!" he shouted, his voice cracking as he felt the walls of his world crumble around him. "I'll save you! I swear!"

But the rival pack was already retreating, dragging Yoongi away into the depths of the forest, leaving Jimin paralyzed by fear and guilt. He had failed to protect him, and the realization hit him like a thunderbolt.

As the last of the enemy vanished into the shadows, Jimin collapsed to his knees, his body trembling with a mixture of rage and despair.

"Jimin!" Namjoon's voice pierced through the fog of his thoughts as he rushed to Jimin's side. "We have to regroup! We can't stay here!"

Jimin's eyes burned with unshed tears, his heart heavy with the weight of his failure. "He was—he was captured. I couldn't do anything!"

Namjoon gripped Jimin's shoulders, forcing him to look up. "We'll get him back. We need to move now, before they come back for the rest of us!"

The pack began to retreat into the safety of the forest, the air thick with grief and determination. Jimin stumbled alongside them, each step heavy with the knowledge that their alpha was gone, that the battle was far from over.

As they found a temporary shelter, the weight of loss settled over them like a shroud. Jimin's heart raced, filled with a fiery determination that could not be extinguished. He would not rest until Yoongi was back by his side.

Across the dark forest, the rival pack gathered in a clearing, their laughter echoing ominously in the night.

"Did you see the look on his face?" Seungkwan sneered, flicking blood off his claws. "He thought he could protect them. Pathetic."

Jeonghan smirked, eyeing the bound figure of Yoongi lying on the ground, his once-mighty form now subdued. "This is just the beginning. We'll break their spirit, and they'll never challenge us again."

"Keep him under guard," the leader ordered, grinning as he surveyed his pack. "He'll make a fine trophy and bait. Let's see how much they care for their precious alpha when he's at our mercy."

Back with Jimin and the others, the weight of the night pressed down on them. Jimin felt the fire of vengeance burning within him, fueled by the fear of losing everything he held dear. He couldn't shake the image of Yoongi being dragged away, and he refused to let that be the end.

"Whatever it takes," Jimin whispered to himself, determination coursing through his veins. "I will bring him back."

The battle had only just begun.
