Jhian pov:

Natapos na yung speech nung girl. Honestly, not bad.

Ugh, but I still can't shake off her insolent attitude earlier.

Yes, I'm aware that it's MY fault naman eh. Pero grabe naman siya kung magalit. Parang kailangan mo pang lumuhod para lang patawarin ka.

Well, too bad 'di ako ganun. At least not anymore. Never again.

The moment she got off stage, 2 girls immediately went to her and hugged her.

Her friends, I suppose.

It was kind of a cute moment. Pero siya, demonyo.

They then started walking towards our direction where we were sitting as they chatted and laughed.

Suddenly, we both locked eyes.

Of course, without a second thought, I quickly looked away.

Bwisit naman oh, 'bat kasi dito pa sila uupo?

Well, maybe it's fair since the only seats left sa event are the ones beside ours. Pero grabe naman Lord, 'bat dito pa?

Before I even got a chance to look at her, Mckenzie said something to me

Before I even got a chance to look at her, Mckenzie said something to me.

"Jhian, any plans after school?" she asked.

"Mmm... No, not really. Why?"

"Nothing, just wanted to ask if you're free to hang out. The 4 of us of course." Mckenzie replied with a smile.

"I'll see nalang. Kailangan ko pa kasi tulungan si mama sa bahay eh." I replied.

"Ako na kakausap kay tita." Nicky added.

Gianna then laughed silently at Nicky's comment and playfully slapped her shoulder.

"Aray naman uy! Piskit na...tsk.

We all laughed at Nicky's reaction.

After a while, I wanted to look around. You know, just roam my eyes around sa venue.

I then accidentally looked at the girl whom I bumped into earlier.

Wait. 'bat parang sabay kami nagka-tinginan?

This time, our eye contact was longer than before.

After how many seconds, she turned her head away, giving me a cold glare before she did.

Grabe naman...

If only looks could kill, I would've already been dead.

FAST FORWARD

Finally, the event has come to an end.

After all the intermission numbers, yung mga pa bongga naman nilang shows, and the closing remarks, we were told to stand up for the closing prayer.
