- JHIAN's POV: -

We were still watching in Mckenzie's living room, in her house. Laughing and shouting whenever we get jump scared. Horror movie kasi pinapanood namin. Snacks scattered everywhere, ang gulo gulo ng mga unan sa sofa and sobrang ingay pa namin! Pero si Mckenzie, sobrang tahimik na nanonood. She covers her ears from time to time kasi naririndi na rin siya sa sobrang ingay namin. Peace tayo, Kenz!

Mckenzie sighed, "Guys, tone down for fucks sake."

"Hoy, tone down raw kasi." I said to the other two.

"Feeling 'di maingay kanina ah." Gianna replied, throwing a pillow at me.

"Aray! Ano ba!" I yelled sarcastically while I laughed.

"Mapapanaginipan mo 'to mamayang gabi, Jhi." Nicky uttered, trying to scare me.

"Nicks ano ba!" I replied while hitting her with the pillow that Gianna threw at me. Nangaasar eh, alam niya na nga lang na matatakutin ako.

"Apaka gulo niyo. Just watch, dude." sabi naman ni Mckenzie while Gianna just laughed at us.

"Jhi, text mo kaya ulit yung research partner mo. Si... Sevyne, was it?" Gianna uttered.

"Ano namang sasabihin ko, aber? 'tas mamaya nakaka-bother na pala ako sakanya." I replied, crossing my arms.

"I agree with Gianna. Just say thank you or something. I don't see anything wrong with that." the red haired girl said.

"Takot kasi si Jhian na ma heart react lang yung message niya, HAHAHAHA!!" Nicky laughed. Nakisali naman yung dalawa sa tawa niya. Kainis! Malay ko ba kung pa'no ko nagustuhang kaibiganin 'tong mga taong 'to!

"Inaneto, eto na nga oh! Inasar pa nga." I replied to them while annoyingly getting my phone out of my pocket. I then unlocked it and opened my imessage.

"Oh, ano na?" I asked while looking at them, waiting for their reply.

"Oh, why're you asking us? Better do it yourself or you won't learn." Mckenzie replied.

"Eh kayo nag-suggest! 'di ko naman ginustong ichat siya!"

"Exactly. Kami ang suggest. Pero wala naman kaming sinabi na tutulungan ka namin, right guys?" Gianna uttered while Mckenzie and Nicky nodded in agreement at her statement. Argh!! Ano ba naman yan!

"Just chat her, Jhi. It's not that hard. Tatalikod pa kami oh, 'di ka namin titignan." Nicky said in a playful manner. I looked at them, confused and annoyed. Well, whatever!

"Eto na nga, mag-tetext na. Talikod!" I uttered which they then did. They focused back on watching the movie, While I... sigh gosh where should I even start? Do I just send a simple "thank you"? Nah, that would be too plain. And mamaya sabihin pa niyang ang ungrateful ng tone ko. Maybe... "Thanks for the treat!"? Huh?? Pinag sasabi mong treat, Jhi! No, no, no! Erase. I kept on typing and erasing my messages for a minute straight. 'di ko talaga alam kung anong sasabihin. Bwisit!

"Ano na, Jhi? Baka 'di ka naman na nag-tetext." Nicky uttered, facing the TV while watching.

I scratched my head in annoyance and replied, saying, "Eto na nga, wait lang kasi. Sobrang impatient eh."

Gosh! Ano na, Jhi! Just type whatever's in your mind na oh! And so I did. Pagkatapos ko namang itype, I looked at it again, double checking for grammatical errors or other stuff that will make me sound stupid. I took a deep breath then finally sent the message.

"Tapos na." I uttered. The three of them then turned around and rushed towards me.

"Pakita!" Gianna said, snatching my phone from my hands.
