chapter - 2

I hold the carriage  protectively and securely with my hands , when I saw the black Mercedes Benz was coming infront of me with a high speed . I closed my eyes in terror. My heart is pounding very fast . When I open my eyes I saw the black Mercedes Benz is just stopped an inch away from us . I don't even look at the car . I immediately shift my gaze to the carriage .
I saw a baby girl is inside the carriage.

The baby is weeping , the little girl got panicked because of what happened to her some moments ago . I know it must be very
Dreadful experience for the little one .when I look at the little one in panick , my motherly instinct kicked me .Without a second thought I carefully took the little one into my arm . I started cradling her in my arms and try to soothe her .

Im holding the baby girl in my arm and try to comfort her "it's okay little angel , it's okay I'm here , you are safe ". I'm caressing her back try to soothe her . I snuggle the baby girl in my chest and said " its okay , sweetheart,you are safe ".

The baby find comfort in her touch and motherly aura .The baby girl is now completely relaxed and calm down in her loving embrace.

Kajal and Kunal saw me in the middle of the road in this state, they run towards me and come to me .The mother of the baby come running towards me . Kajal hugged srinika
" Srinika are you okay ?" . Kunal look at srinika  with concern in his eyes, he slightly caressing her back. " Are you okay na , did you get hurt ? ". I looked at them with small
Smile " I'm okay , don't worry and i don't get hurt ". kajal said " pagal ladki tuney hame Dara Diya tha " .( You crazy girl , you just scared us ). Kunal nodded with agreement.

Srinika said " Guys I saw that the baby carriage lose its balance and started rolled  towards the road and the vehicles were coming, and the baby's mother was unaware, when I saw that ,  without a second my gut feeling says to rescue the baby , so I run towards the road ".

Kajal and Kunal saw the little baby girl in my chest who is comfortably snuggle in my chest . They just smile while looking at me and the baby girl .

Kajal and Kunal  looked at srinika full of admiration in their eyes .kajal smiled at srinika " meri jaan , tu to sherni hai sherni I'm so proud of you ". ( My Jaan , you are a lioness ) Kunal while smiled at srinika and said " we are proud of you  and your kindness". At that time the baby's mother run towards us and stood in front of us .she with her treambling voice said " thank you for rescuing my baby, if you have not come I had lost my baby ".

I confronted the baby's mother in serious tone
"If you care your baby so much than why you just carelessly, left the carriage to collision huh , you know what, to become  a mother  the most beautiful thing in whole universe.  A baby is the most precious gift by the universe. Some people just yearning for baby in their life but unfortunately they are not blessed to have a baby , you are lucky to have a little angel in your life. You should better take care of her ."

The mother felt ashamed by her words . she
Took the baby girl from srinika's arm and hold her baby girl. The mother said " I'm so sorry, I will better attentive of surroundings and careful ."
Srinika said " don't say sorry to me just be responsible and careful ".

I looked at the baby girl for last time , i caressed her cheeks and smiled and said
" Stay safe , little one ". The baby giggled at me before they left . The baby and her mother soon vanished from our eyes .
I sighs in relief .
Thank God , the baby girl is safe .
Kajal and Kunal also looked relieved.

They said " you know srinika , you are literally an angel ".

I smiled

I said " guys let's go , we are getting late for college ." Ab calo bhag te hai yaha se " . ( Lets run , guys )
