When the sun had finally set and the colors had disappeared, I unlaced my fingers from Ben's and stood up, brushing off any dust from the back of my pants. As I did, I noticed Ben looking up at me from his spot on the edge.

"What?" I asked looking down at him with a small smile playing on my lips. Without the need to say anything, Ben stood up in one swift motion and wrapped his hands around my waist. I let out a light giggle at his sudden movements as I continued to look at him.

"Where are you going?" he asked smiling down at me. A few strands of my hair freed themselves from behind my ear and blew in my face, causing me to close my eyes and move them.

"I was planning on going back to my room and getting some sleep like you should be." I remarked opening my eyes and glancing back at him.

"Fine lets go." he said before releasing me from his grip. I quickly turned around towards the door to hide the blush creeping onto my face as I inched closer to it. Out of all the people at this god awful camp, I was glad I found someone who cared as much as I did. Even during what seemed like the inevitable end.

"I'll race you." I said as I finally came to the door. I turned around to see Ben a few feet behind me and on his way over to me,

"You're so on." he smiled. With that, I turned back to the door and swung it open, racing down the stairwell. As my feet glided down the stairs, I heard Ben's heavy feet behind me creating an echo as we continued to run. I was still in the lead as I bolted out the door of the building and into the nearly empty streets. A few people lingered and glared at me as I ran past as if something was chasing me; in someway something, or someone, was. In this moment I didn't care about what they were thinking or what was going on. All I cared about was enjoying the time with Ben. That was, before I left without him...

"You won't win!" I heard him shout behind me. I smiled back at him over my shoulder as I turned a corner and got closer to the building where me and Isabel stayed.

"Says the one in second place!" I yelled back. Just as I turned my head back around, I felt a presents and I turned my head to the left to see Ben gaining on me. A smile spread across his face as he inched forward as we raced into the building, the bright lights blinding me for a second before my eyes adjusted. I heard people shouting 'Slow down!' and 'Watch where you're going you morons' as we turned another corner. This time, Ben had the lead only by an inch. And as we neared my door, I noticed him slowing down, giving me the chance to run ahead and slam my hand on the door as I came to a stop. I turned around panting as Ben walked up to me with a smile stretched across his face.

"Looks like you were right, I'll win next time though." he smirked before coming close to me a placing a soft kiss on my cheek.

"Maybe sweetheart." I mocked as I turned the handle on the door and opened it to reveal Isabel sitting patiently on her bed. She looked up at me, our eyes locking for a second, before she saw who I was standing next and suddenly she stood up and walked over to us.

"Where have you been?" she asked as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"I needed to clear my head. look, you're not my guardian I don't know why you care so much, it's not your job." I suddenly snapped. I don't really know what had caused me to say those things but for some reason, I didn't feel too bad. Which defiantly scared me.

"Well I'm sorry I'm a concerned friend who wants to make sure you're okay. But I see I don't need to be." she said her eyes shifting to Ben who stood next to me awkwardly. I stole a glance at Ben before shifting my eyes to the ground and back to Isabel.

"Look, I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me. Can you just forgive me so we can move on? " I asked. She looked at me closely before rolling her eyes playfully and nodding her head. I let a small smile pass my lips before turning to Ben.
