I followed Isabel as we walked out of the building and into the almost deserted streets. There were a few people walking to different places, giving me dirty looks as I passed. I don't know why they had looked at me like that, I hadn't done anything wrong or killed anyone that I knew of. I had just gotten there not even a few weeks ago. And already people were giving me hateful looks. But I just brushed it off as I continued to follow Isabel. About half way down the road, Isabel stopped in front of an alley way and turned her head looking down it. I stopped behind her and turned to look at what she saw. Standing a ways in was Ben. He had two automatic guns, one in each hand, and stood there looking at me with a small smile on his face. I returned the smile and looked at the tall piece of wood that was propped against the side of the building a few feet away. Drawn on it, very sloppily might I add, was what looked like a skidder. Looks like I was going to do some target practice. Super.

"You ready?" Isabel asked turning to me. I slowly nodded and turned back to Ben.

"Hey Ben." I said looking at him. He set down the guns against a wooden shield he had set up and walked up to us.

"Hey Grace." he said looking at me first and then Isabel.

"Nice to see you Izzy." Ben said turning to Isabel. She smiled and nodded her head.

"Hey, you be careful with her okay? We still need her." Isabel said jokingly as she nudged Ben in the arm. He chuckled a little and nodded.

"I promise, nothing will happen to her." he said looking at me. Our eyes met and for a moment, there was nothing but us. It was a new weird thing for me but something I could defiantly get used to.

"Okay, well, I'm going to go. Have fun." Isabel said knocking us out of our trance. I nodded as she turned and walked back the way we came.

"You ready to start?" Ben asked motioning towards the guns. I nodded, my hands starting to shake, as I followed Ben over to the guns. He picked up both guns and held one out to me. I hesitated a minute before reaching out my shaking hand and grabbing the gun. It was a lot heavier then I thought so I used both hands, holding it across my chest.

"First thing we're going to do is check your gun." Ben said. He unclicked his guns barrel and check the number of bullets inside. He showed me how to do it and then I followed. Checking the barrel wasn't what worried me. What worried me was that I might hurt myself or even Ben. Once I clicked the barrel back into the gun, I looked up at Ben.

"Okay, next, were going to shoot it." he said. He bent down and got behind the shield he had set up. He rested the gun on the top of the shield and held his hand on the trigger. Then he looked up at me to see me still standing, frozen in my spot.

"It's okay. You won't get hurt. I promise." Ben said giving me a reassuring smile. I relaxed a little and nodded. I knelt down next to him and positioned my gun like his. I looked over at him a little nervous and took a deep breath.

"Okay, now aim for the head. But be careful, that gun has a bit of a kick back." Ben instructed. I nodded and rested my cheek on the side of the gun as I looked down the scope at the target. I adjusted it to the head and put my finger on the trigger. I felt my heart rate increase so I took a deep breath to calm my nerves. I relaxed my hand and held my finger over the trigger. I pulled back the trigger to fire and as I did that. The gun pushed back and hit me just below the eye. I was knocked back onto the ground and landed on my butt. Ben put down his gun and came right next to me. I sat up a little and covered the spot on my cheek with my hand. I was defiantly going to have a bruise. I laughed a little as Ben looked at me.

"I told you there was a kickback." Ben commented.

"I guess I wasn't paying that much attention." I said giggling. Ben chuckled a little and but his hand on my back, helping me up. When I stood up, Ben pulled his hand back and looked at me with a shocked look on his face.
