Chapter 2

"Annabeth are you ready to go!" my brother yells at me from the other side of the door. "Yeah give me a minute I'm putting on my shoes" I say while looking in all the boxes for my shoes "What shoes are you wearing Annabeth!?" My brother Says with sarcasm in his voice " my black ones with blue laces why?" "Because I don't know how your putting them on if I have them out here!!" He says while coming I'm my room and throwing them at me "Oh haha well you see what had happened was is uh.." he cuts me off "yeah yeah shut up and put them on we still have to go pick up Lilian."he says while I'm putting them on . "So uh do you want me to kill Elliott for you because I will gladly do that!" Oh how I love my brother "haha no no ,no need for that" I say while holding my hand out for him to pick me up. "Ok. If at any point you change your mind just let me know." "Will do" I tell him while we walk out the house and into his truck. "Go to the back" Joseph tells me as we pull up to Lilian's house " Fuck you mean go to the back she can go to the back" I say while crossing my arms across my chest. He's just staring at me now "I'm not moving so don't waste your time trying son." I tell him while I lean the seat back "Your a pain in the ass you know that" he tells me while walking out the truck to get Lilian "yeah I love you too" I tell him.
"Annabeth your home!" Lilian says while giving me a hug. She smells like a she spilled a bottle of perfume all over her, to much perfume Lilian "yeah I am haha" I say while I pull the seat foward for her to get in the back "after you" I say while holding my hand out pointing to the back seat. She doesn't put up a fight or make any faces, this is why I like her. My brother just looks me and I smile at him and he flips me off.
The 15 minute drive to the gym is full of me and Lilian singing to FUN pitbul ft the one and only Chris Brown and country music I love both of those things dearly. When we finally arrive to the gym it takes me by surprise it is so packed way more packed then when I came home for spring break. But then agian I did come like around 11 at night so that would make sence. As me and Lilian walk toward the girls locker room guy after guy is just looking wtf!? They must be looking at Lilian because I look tacky as ever with my blue Captain America shirt and black tights with a pink line down the leg and black shoes with blue laces. Yup might not want to come to the gym like this anymore. Maybe that's why they are looking at us. "So what are we going to do first " " uh I I run first to just get that out of the way and then I do legs and abs" I tell Lilian while she ties her shoes. "Okay well let's go then. " as I walk to the water fountian after finishing my 3rd mile this guy walks next to me and bumps me for the 3rd time " asshole " I say under my breather low enough for him not to hear but of course he does "I'm sorry I didn't see you " what are we in 7th grade " how could you not see me I'm not that hard to miss" I say pointing up and down to my tacky outfit "well I sure couldn't miss you I just needed an excuse to talk to you Annaboo" he says smiling. This can't be him no way is it him he looks so different no glasses no ugly ass swag fag gear he thought was so cool no Sarah wrapped aroung his waist. "Steven!! This can't be you !" "and why not " he says with a confused look. "well for starters your fanny pack Sarah isn't wrapped around your waist and second no swag fag clothes and third no glasses" "okay I get it geeze, you got mean " he says while laughing "I'm sorry " I say while looking down with a puppy dog face and look back up at him with a smile. He looks at me lifting a brow. And looking at me " well I should get to my leg work out now, it was nice talking to you Steven. "I say while giving him a small punch to the arm. "Should work on your arms, your weak" " Hey watch it I will release these fists of fury on you" real smooth Annabeth you see Steven for the first time since senior year and you say fists of fury he brings me out of my thoughts "haha calm down tiger" he's always had a beautiful smile . "Haha well as much as I love talking to you I have to go work out" "Uh yeah sorry I'll leave you to it " he says while scratching his head and flexing his muscles wow is he hotter then ever when he does that. We are just looking at each other now and lucky for me Lilian is walking my way as she gets closer to us I grab her "This is my sister in law Lilian" I say introducing them "awwww you think of me as a sister in law already" smiling extremely big, pshhh no..., well I guess I do in a way she has been dating my brother for 4 years already " of couse I do " I say while bumping her with my shoulder, " oh well I'm Steven nice to meet you" they shake hands and Lilian turns to me and she know what I'm thinking "So you ready for the arrrr" I point to my legs "leg work out." Thank you Lilian "yeah I am" I turn to Steven " I shall be going now it was very nice talking to you agian " I say while sticking my hand out for him to shake it. He shakes it and pulls me in for a hug "eww you are all sweaty get off" I say while pushing him away and making faces while laughing " haha I don't know why you're complaining so are you " " well you have a point but this is my sweat not yours " "okay okay go work out your chicken legs" he says pointing at the machines and I wave goodbye and walk to the machines with Lilian. she is just looking at me while I do my leg press "What are you looking at woman" " You know why I'm looking at you don't act surprised, who was that, and I know you and Elliott aren't dating so we can skip that part" I look at her lifting an eyebrow "Joseph told me while you and Steven were making googly eyes at each other " I start on my squats and tell her "he was just a friend that I talked to my high school and middle school years nothing fancy " I tell her while putting up the weights. We do a couple of arm and Ab workouts and tell my brother we are ready to go home. As we are walking out I look for Steven but I don't find him.
