Chapter 4

When I wake up its 4 in the afternoon I feel happy and it feels like I've been asleep forever or at least longer than 5 hour . Chris Browns song 5 more hours comes to my mind so I plug my phone in to the aux cord and turn up the music;) really loud and start moving my head side to side . Annabel comes in the room and sits on my bed and does the same thing and we jump on my bed singing and dancing to the music. My mom then comes in the room and tells us to turn the music down and stop jumping before we brake something. Annabel and i just look at each other and walk out of the room and go to the kichen and eat tuna while making faces at each other while we eat.

After 30 minutes of looking through Netflix I find nothing so I go to Josephs room "Are you going to the gym later" I ask hoping he says yes in hope to see Steven again " Uh yeah I think so like around 7 " it's 6 now "okay I wanna go so don't leave with out me. " I say and he nods his head. An hour and a half later we are at the gym. I go work on my arms since I already ran today. As I work on my arms someone comes up beside me. "You make ugly faces when you work out " I stop what I'm doing and open my eyes . Oh shit it's Steven. "So do you asshole " even though I've never seen him work out "I knew that was you watching me " he says smiling I roll my eyes "I've never actually seen you work out stupid I just needed a come back" I say and he rolls his eyes " yeah yeah" he says "Let me see your faces while you work out asshole" I say getting up as he sits down "Okay " he puts more weights on the bar and looks at me and laughs "I told you you were weak" "yeah yeah shut up and lift" he starts to lift and he smiles then makes duck lips and does faces trying to look cute. I bust out laughing and he puts the weights up and laughs with me "so am I ugly " hell no your not. " yes you are very ugly sir " we start laughing and he just looks at me " Do you want to go get something to eat " he looks at me " I uhh I haven't worked out I should finish my work outs " who am I kidding I don't care about this stupid work out I just don't want to move to fast with someone else . Stop over thinking this it's just food. "Oh come on Annaboo I saw you in the morning you already worked out " I can feel my cheeks get red "In the morning?" Now his cheeks are red but he shakes it off " yeah I saw you with your mom and I saw you see me and I saw you try to play it off and...."I quickly cut him off "okay okay I get it you saw me see you " we both laugh "so yes you'll go out to eat with me" he says scratching his head showing off his muscles again "I mean I guess" he just smiles at me "alright cool so you want to go in my truck or you want to follow me " he's still scratching his head "I actually came with my brother so your car it is let me just go let him know not to wait up" I start looking for my brother but I don't find him "I don't see him " i tell Steven still looking for Joseph "Maybe he's in the locker room I can go check " I nod and he starts walking away "Wait Steven how do you know what he looks like" I yell while running behind him bumping into his back. He turns around laughing telling me he knows what he looks like so I just wait for him outside by the entrance I look through my phone while I wait for him " Ready to go" he grabs my shoulders and I jump "Oh shit" I turn around and swat his arm "You scared me" he laughs and says sorry "are you ready " he asks "yeah" he walks in front of me and I follow him to his truck and when he clicks the button for the doors to unlock I reach for the door handle to open it "Wait Foo" I quickly take my hand off the handle and put my hands up "What are you doing?" " I don't know" "didn't you ever have a gentleman in your life" he tells me while opening the door for me " Haha no I didn't actually" I tell him as he closes the door and goes to the other side of the truck. I actually never had a gentleman in my life well except for my brothers and dad I'm basically just talking about Elliott he was never a gentleman he never opened doors for me never got me flowers or did any gentleman like thinks " hello earth to Annabeth did you hear me " I was thinking about Elliotts bitchass I didn't even hear Steven "No I'm sorry I didn't hear you what did you say" he shakes his head and repeats himself " I said what do you want to eat " as he drives out of the parking lot " uh I don't care just food" I really don't care I'm not picky "okay what about panda express" except that " anything but that " he laughs and shakes his head "you girls are so complicated first you say I don't care and we bring you something and what we bring you is somehow wrong " he looks over at me and we both start laughing " oh please boys are equally as complicated " I look at him " oh really tell me...., don't worry I'll wait" my mind goes blank when he looks at me with those blue-green eyes and smiles " I can't think of anything right now but it'll come to me" I look back at him and then away quickly " sure it will, so what do you want to eat then like wingstop or something " I like wingstop I can do wingstop " he laughs "Wingstop it is then " he pulls into a wingstop and we get off to get our order "It's packed as shit in here its a good thing we ordered over the phone" i nod in a agreement and say yeah "you want to eat in my truck i know this really cool place we can stop at " he looks excited " yes please I wouldn't be able to eat in here " we grab our food and we go back to the truck "so where is this really cool place " I say in a mocking voice and he looks at me with a pokerface and then smiles " it's this place where the soldiers go to run or hike it's really cool or beautiful as you girls would call it " I smile and nod at him. Is he in the army or does he just hang around with people in the army I would have thought he would go to college for soccer or something but not the army I don't have any problem with it he just got me by surprise. I'm not saying anything to him I should say something " Did I do something wrong "he says before I can say anything "what no what are you talking about" I look up at him "well your not talking and you look bothered by something" crap was it that noticeable " no I'm not you didn't do anything wrong" I smile to assure him "So then what is wrong with you. You're brother told me you just got through a break up is that it?" He parks the car when we get to the spot he told me about. "No it's not that and why would he tell you about that " I look at him confused "He told me not to try anything stupid because you just got threw a break up and he loves you i guess" he gets the bag of wingstop and oh is all I say and laugh as I get my plate "you want to eat in here or in the bed of the truck" he looks at me while I have my mouth full of fries I look up at him laughing "I'm good in here unless you want to go outside " he shakes his head no and fills his mouth with fries "So if you don't mind me asking what happened with you and your boyfriend" I stop eating my fries and look down and let out a deep breath " I'm sorry we don't have to talk about this if you don't want to "I shake my head " No its okay "I look at him and touch his hand and quickly remove it "He cheated on me I uhh I was trying to surprise him because he told me he was studying and I uhh walked in on him and another girl making out on his couch "I tell him and look up at him and we are just quiet and he finally talks " well maybe he was studying the human body "he says scratching his head and I laugh "maybe " I start crying with out wanting to and I feel his arms wrapped around me "please don't cry Anna I didn't mean it I was just trying to lighten the mood I'm sorry " I shake my head " No its fine i didnt mean to cry" i say cleaning my tears "it feels good to be held " I say. I feel so vulnerable around him I feel like I've known him forever like I can tell him my problems and he will make them disappear with just a touch . He hugs me tight and then let's me go and I look up at him "Are you okay Anna" I shake my head and back away " I'm sorry for that you got me by surprise and it felt good in a way " I look down and shake my head " I'm sorry" " no no it's fine really they say hugging is a really good medicine for break ups as long as your okay I'm okay" he looks at me and smiles and the next thing I know we are kissing. With out thinking I get onto his lap and continue to kiss him and then he stops " Annabeth I don't want you to think I'm taking advantage of you if you want to stop we can stop " I don't "just kiss me" I tell him and he grabs my hips as we kiss I take off my shirt as he goes down to my neck and I moan his name under my breath he suddenly stops and looks at me "Annabeth I think I think we should stop " he says out of breath and I get off his lap and look for my shirt "yeah I'm sorry I shouldn't have came on to you I'm sorry " I tell him looking at him and I can feel my cheeks red " No please don't be sorry I just don't want this to go to far and you regret it the next day you know" he looks at and puts his hand on mine and I pull away quickly "yeah i get it" I look at him and smile "Can you please take me home I don't want my parents to worry" he nods and drives me home. The rest of the ride home is quiet and I feel so embarrassed. We finally get to my house he tells me to wait and he gets off to open the door for me "thank you for everything " I tell him "no problem I had fun " he smiles at me and I return the smile look down and walk inside my house.
